Sancturillore -- Élie Simard-Wallot

Something that was skipped in season 1 was the explanation of what the Hero class does. To have it, Alioth (the human hero among the seven, and the only one among them to actually have that class) had to reach level 200 with all four vanguard melee classes. That is to say with all of the 3 basic warrior classes that do the same thing except for different weapons (Light Warrior, Warrior, Heavy Warrior) and then with Sword Master (the advanced warrior class unlocked from reaching 200 in any of the basic warrior classes). The result of this is that Alioth was at most a skilled fighter with a bad build up to him reaching level 800 and discovering that the Hero class can be acquired by maxing out the 4 vanguard classes. Then, the Hero class turned Alioth from just a skilled fighter to one of the strongest people in the world, even among the seven heroes (and in the game it turned him from a mediocre player to one of the top 3 pvp players). The Hero class has super strong skills AND every level gained after having the Hero class increased your stats by a ton. As a result, Lufas theorized that since Sei gained the Hero class as his FIRST class, that this stat increase from the Hero class would continue for ALL of his levels. This is the reason why Sei's Light Sword attack buff deals so much damage. His Hero class makes him stronger than his actual low level would suggest.
