one of the best-written trauma-coded one-sided love stories I can remember watching in idk how long

Demon King Shin Konton

So I can respect that she has yandere level feelings for him that's fine but that's where it ends Tho let's be honest it might turn into a romantic relationship because it's a freaking trope Just take a look at Sesshōmaru and Rin from inuyasha and it's pretty clear that's where Naofumi and Raphtalia's relationship is heading and let's not forget do over damsel Hell Just look at Arifureta with Akio

"I'd appreciate an explanation first. You're an unknown element." "Okay, so there's this super cute pet bird I bought the other day, and believe it or not, it's actually a reincarnated magician! He taught me magic so I can teleport to a fantasy world and earn money for that pricey meat he loves so much." "... I would think you are out of your mind, but I am literally a demon playing an underground death game." You know what? You want to repay Sasaki in a normal way? Keep company and feed his pet bird! That doubles as an excuse to use Sasaki's apartment and be sheltered from the elements. I hope she can turn her obsession into some kind of family love. Even if it is stronger than usual, it could work. A bit like Norn with Paul Greyrat. You've already pointed out the booster seat in a previous episode lol, but I would lie if I said I didn't think about it again too when I saw how ridiculous she looks when driving a giant car.

Definitely enjoying their adaptation of v3 thus far. Will be excited to see what happens next for sure. Based on trailers , they shown 80% of the trailers at only episode 5 LOL. I didnt read the novel yet but got them recently , sooo i will binge them (after catching up hell mode novels of course :) )

I could have done without the additional flashbacks, I felt we had enough to get the picture and adding in the heroism felt a bit like the author piling it on too thick. Escape by running out the clock isn't the worst, but feels kind of cheap, maybe anime undersold how beatup the other side was. Last part was cool, seeing Sasaki navigate the negotiation to come out ok.
