Changes to reactions (Patreon)

I changed my plan on Patreon so I'm going to try hosting on here from now on meaning I hopefully won't need overlays or lowered audio going forward. For 2023 you can only upload 500 hours of content but that's like 1100 uploads for me so I won't hit that cap. Long as Patreon doesn't start getting iffy with copyright BS ill try not to use the overlays and have audio clear. Obviously if something comes up this could change with overlays coming back but hopefully going forward better experience for you.

This sounds awesome, and hopefully Patreon doesn’t ruin it. Seeing how their policy changes sometimes just screw creators over

it's in beta atm and next year they might up the price for the option but for this year anyway seems like the way to go.

Yeah I read about it, and those 500 hours of videos is supposed to carry over to the next year if you have not used them up yet. If I remember correctly

yeah id be shocked if patreon doesn't try to get creators to do the 12% plan where they take 12% for video hosting. I went from my founders plan of 5% to the 8% to get the early access on videos. hopefully they keep it on the 8% plan but least for the next year we good. they alos gave an extra 500 hours to people last year who joined early so they are pretty good at treating creators right atm

Creators who are YouTubers and reviewers perhaps. As I have had two artists who I have been supporting for the longest time here on Patreon. Get warning strikes now because of the new policy. Which has scared them so much that they don’t even dare to speak Ill of them here on this platform
