This was blocked on YouTube and went unnoticed for a long time

witz

you guys should react to their live performance "aha!" in singapore i think it really shows the talent of the bass (Avi) and the tenor (Mitch)

Beverly Alford

Takin’ me to church, this Friday morning xo.

Jon

yay! more pentatonix!!!!!

Kinji

The guy with the beard and the low voice is Avi Kaplan and he's a former member. He was with them for a good while but isn't anymore.

Firefighter Chick

They do a good job, no doubt but it's not my favorite version. For their style of singing it's great though.

Since you guys seem so interested in seeing them live you should really check out them singing this live at their Pentatonix Christmas Special. It’s insane how good they sound. Another good example of them live is their cover of Gold by Kiiara. To answer your question about whether they met organically, three of them did. Kirstie, Scott (tall blonde), and Mitch (high voice) were high school friends. There’s a cool video of them performing Telephone at their high school concert. They recruited Avi (bass singer) and Kevin (beat boxer) later when they decided to join the tv show The Sing Off.

They really need to respond to "The Prayer" from their album EVERGREEN, which was just nominated for a GRAMMY: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wnvzwAPqniU They already have THREE Grammys. A fourth would be so sweet! Tired of Dave not believing in their talent. Listen to Hallelijah LIVE during their one of many Christmas specials in the states. That for once, may put his doubts to rest. smh. React to this and have all your doubts put to rest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haFHrfmfHbc

Actually, Mitch and Scott met when they were 10 years old in a community production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." Mitch and Kirstie met at age 8; Scott and Kirstie met in a high school English class.

They sing well….Pretty Good cover (Band) cover singer (band)? Pretty good at Singing Bands Music? Meh.

I didnt watch this because i think this is the cheesiest song choice for a cover-singing-band/choir of all time….Ill queue it up when I’m in a hospice someday….But Probably Not then either lol….My Hospice room will bump and rock! Not some choir singing this lullaby lol

I know it's because yall aren't exactly huge fans (especially at the time of this vid), but it's so funny that Dave asked "Is that the beatboxer but he's just had a shave and a haircut?" when referring to Avi LOL one is a Jewish very white man and the other is a black man, and they look very different from one another. Beautiful to know Dave sees right through skin color haha
