Good evening Citizens,

It's been a while. There's been a lot on my mind lately. I've been doing my best to get as much done with SL possible, but classes have started and, like usual, it's consuming a lot of my free time. I have maybe 0-3 days usually per week to work on SL, and I try my best to get as much done as possible during those sessions. We're about 40-50% done this update, and I'm just thinking to myself whether or not I just want to release a short 1 scene update or wait and keep working on 2 scenes. I know people don't want small updates, but I feel like it might be better to just have something available to let people know we are still alive. The time table to finish this update is unknown, unfortunately. We'll see. I need more time to think about this.

So we have some bad news. Seems like our viewership on Itch has randomly decided to plummet by about 70%, and it's been consistently this way for the last month. It's weird because we have had a relatively steady amount of views for a few years now, so I think it's strange that it decided to take a random plummet like this. We had that scare when Itch took down all h-games from being visible last year, and I'm feeling some deja vu from that, because obviously a lack of visibility tells us that our game is dying. It does feel like a heavy blow to my mentals, but I get that a lot of it is self-inflicted because the reality is that we just haven't been having updates on a regular basis. The only good news is that I am still feeling quite optimistic about this year and next. I will be graduating around May 2027. We have two more semesters left. I would assume that, even if I find some kind of employment relative to my field, it will be a lot less stressful than having to work on both SL and classes at the same time. Right now, I'm applying to everywhere I can, but I haven't had much success. If I can't find a job after I graduate, I don't know what's going to happen to me. The job market has been very bad for the industry and then I'll be in like $60,000 in debt. We still have a long way to go, but it has been very worrying.

Anyways, as always, thank you everyone for your support. We're currently on week 4 of 15. Two more semesters to go. We've been taking classes for the past 3 years and we're at the final stretch. Again, if I graduate and still can't find anything, I think I might jump off the bridge. I still want to finish SL before that happens though. We'll see.
