Hello folks!

Since I'm approaching my next goal, which is introducing new tier with my maps as Foundry content, I would love if you let me know what tools do you use for campaigns and if you plan any changes in future (post-pandemic time).

I'm currently using Roll20, but mostly due to lack of time to switching to Foundry. Will at least still be several months.

I currently use Owlbear.rodeo as my VTT, because it's lightweight.

I use Roll20 for both of my two groups. Group 1 is local but one player goes away to college and another is moving out of state in a few weeks. I have another player that is on a Chromebook and I have no idea if Foundry would work for them or not due to his system's limitations. Group 2 is semi local with one player that moved back to Canada. So VTT works great for me in both aspects. Even when I was playing at the table with G1 I was still using Roll20 for map management due to lack of space for paper maps. I also prefer to use VTT to save on paper waste as well.

I used roll20 but I'm currently migrating to owlbear rodeo

We’ve been using Roll20 and are switching to in-person with paper printouts for one campaign but we also have a tv embedded in the table to use the digital versions for maps we only need briefly (since ink can be expensive). But we also can’t play anywhere nearly as frequently in person as we can via Roll20 so I strongly suspect that we’ll do the campaign in person and oneshots via Roll20, still.

So a combo of paper, in-person digital without VTT and some Roll20, basically.

I've switched from Roll20 to Astral Tabletop a while ago and I couldn't be happier with the switch, so I plan on using Astral for the future as well
