Last month, we dealt with a surprise Subnautica update, changed the Hydra model, added a new creature, started streaming on Patreon, created the first room of a precursor base, added new islands in the void and made new concepts!

Only got out last time because it was the first week of school and we had half days and I planned with teachers ahead of time to get my work done early.

Sucks that you guys had to move the terrain to get it to work, but at least it’s a working solution. Hope you get warning before updates in the future. It’s nice to see the Hydra getting closer to completion, (it’s awesome already but the modules will be amazing!). The bladefish looks super good. Its color will make it even harder to spot in the void. Definitely a trait a deep sea fish would have. Can’t wait to see all the PDA entries on all the new creatures. Biology is so fun. Combining the brine with new textures is really inventive. You guys are so smart. Can’t wait to see what you all come up with next. See you at the next stream, (even if I’m only there for a little while.).

ACE FISH! also I love the pipes in that render! Very cool! I’m mentally assuming that black goo biome is where the spooky leviathan that stalks you goes to lay it’s eggs! XP

If you’re talking about the Lurker then I think it would lay its eggs on the side of the crater. Maybe they would stick to the side or just float. But now that it has destroyed bases to shelter its eggs, maybe it will lay them there. What do you think?

Every islands of COTV will be on the north of the map ??I though, for some reason, that the void clusters would all be around the crater instead of all in the same direction
