Aqua

I feel immense pain flooding me after being swallowed by the darkness. Which I quickly realize is some sort of aspect of the darkness itself thanks to my Sonar of the Abyss trait.

The darkness is very different from the previous darkness that was filling the area. With this darkness being corrosive in nature.

A faint smile spreads across my face as I feel a tiny connection beginning to form amidst the pain. But that smile turns into a grimace when the pain grows stronger.

Then I use Abyssal Reversal on the dark lord, followed by Light of the Abyss and Claw of the Abyssal Kraken on both of my hands.

The light from Light of the Abyss pierces through some of the darkness while more of the darkness is retracted thanks to Abyssal Reversal making the dark lord retract it instead of spread it. Albeit only for a few seconds before the monster realizes it.

And once it realizes what’s happening, it tries to break through Abyssal Reversal, only to seemingly realize it is too weak right now to easily break through. On top of the mental damage from Light of the Abyss, the thing ends up halting whatever skill it’s using to spread that corrosive darkness. Which makes my grin return as some of the pain fades.

As the corrosive darkness fades, I feel my wounds beginning to regenerate at a rapid pace. But even with that, I’ve practically been skinned with that corrosive darkness.

Yet ironically enough, the darkness didn’t affect my armor.

Which is weird, but whatever.

I don’t even wait for my wounds to heal as I summon numerous abyssal servants to hold the monster in place. Only for each one to be sent flying by the dark lord’s movements.

But that’s fine since it still manages to keep the dark lord in place long enough for me to stab both of my claws into the hole in its gut. Further spreading the venom into its body as that connection from before begins to grow even stronger.

I gradually feel my skin regenerating after the flesh beneath it finishes regrowing.

Right as I feel the connection nearly locking in as the darkness of the Abyss spreads through the flesh of the dark lord, I begin to feel more and more relaxed. Feeling like the battle is nearing its end.

Until the dark lord lets out one last attack in the form of multiple powerful beams of darkness that come out of nowhere and pierce right through me. Blowing out five different holes going straight through my body.

[Holy shit…]

[What the fuck?! Did she just get killed in an instant?!]

[Fuck, no! Don’t let her die!]

[What are you all talking about? This much won’t kill Aqua.]

[She’ll heal it soon.]

[She’s regenerated from worse than this before.]

[Sure, but did she have this little mana at that point?]

I feel shocked at the sudden attack’s sheer power, making me glance down at the numerous holes spread across my body. One that’s at least four inches in diameter through my stomach, one that’s two inches in my shoulder, a couple in my arms, and one in my leg. With each one piercing through my armor as well, seemingly different from the corrosive darkness from before.

After looking at them all, I cough out a mouthful of blood that floats in the pitch black darkness of the ocean around us. Then I turn my attention to the dark lord again as I fee weakness filling my body from the wounds. Even if they’ll all eventually heal.

What with those attacks not having hit any of my vital points.

Both my brain and my hearts are all fine and unharmed, so I can’t die just from wounds like this.

Still. My regeneration is working overtime to heal the wounds, and I feel exhausted.

I turn my focus back onto the dark lord as I finally feel the connection establishing in full. With the venom fully spreading throughout its body.

Turning it into an abyssal servant at last.

Despite the immense pain all through my body, along with the lack of feeling I have in my legs thanks to the massive hole in my gut also happening to pass through my spine, I still find a faint grin spreading across my face. Especially as I see the dark lord abyssal servant’s body beginning to recover as it drains my mana to do so.

Giving me a fully manifested abyssal servant of the highest level on the planet.

One that can use its magical powers thanks to being fully manifested.

Success at last.

And my thoughts are further confirmed when I get an array of System Messages and System Notifications now that it’s dead.

I smile through the pain as I read the notification. Only for another notification to appear in my vision in its place.

The Planet of Oceana has officially become under the ownership of Aqua Azuranth, Official Pioneer of the Alliance.

Additionally, the Planet of Oceana has now opened up to other planets of the universe and welcomes all visitors of levels at the maximum level of the average level of the planet’s denizens.

And there’s the global notification for every user on the planet. Right on time.

Not bad.

Not bad at all.

And I didn’t even have to use my once a week or once a month items.

Right as I’m beginning to relax, though, I feel another wave of pain flooding me from behind as something enters my back. With something humanoid blinking into existence in my senses right behind me.

Something with a claw stabbed into my back.
