Well now, how very interesting. I was wondering if we were going to see the core of this very weird planet...place?...World? Does a world of floating islands count as a planet?

Actually taking the time to think about it a third time. Considering its a cloud world, with floating islands from what I assume to be a gravitational anomaly generated from its super weird planatary core. It technically qualifies for both planet, and miniature solar system if you could the core as the star, and the islands as metoerites.

Planets can be made of gasses, so Gas and floating rocks should still be a Planet..

Thanks for the chapter! Very interesting that no one ever was down there... this is a world of flying islands, I'd assume there are a few people around that can fly - or teleport. But if no one has ever been down there, and people have been living on this planet for a long time, that means that nothing that has ever fallen down there was ever retrieved... which means there might be some loot to find. I hope Hannah also maybe comes down, seems a bit rude of Aria to leave her alone while spending years in the hunter spot training. Hannah is there to spend time with her after all, and she did just recently help save Aria from being found by the Arc people. It's not out of character, still doesn't seem like the polite thing to do

You seem to have completely forgotten about the poison gas in the clouds. And you're also forgetting that no one currently knows how to get down there. No one will even figure that out for a few years.

It wasn't mentioned that no one currently knows how to get down there, but I did forget about the poison gas, yeah. Guess that means some interruption free training time for Aria :D

They have said that no one had been able to get down there before though. That no one actually saw what was in the center of the planet. And it was heavily implied that they'd tried.

A planetary system technically does not need a star, any object with enough mass or more exactly gravitational field will do, even an artificial (possibly magical) gravity generator. However, this can't be a system where the islands orbit the core. If that was the case, it would be impossible to just fall down. Like, if you leave the Earth, you don't fall towards the Sun. You continue to orbit it unless you change your orbital velocity, by either decreasing your speed or changing the direction to point towards the Sun.
