Spoliers ahead If you're too lazy to watch the fight...or end up at the wrong Ban vs Meliodas fight...esestaily, in a death-tournament, two best buds are in a team agaisnt two demon bird monsters. The duo starts squabbling with eachother and the birds get beatup in the cross fire. At one point the bird's hand comes off on MC's head. MC doesn't really notice, he casually flicks it aside just as if it was a piece of hair fell that in his face. Once they finish their squabbling, the two are suprised to find the birds dead. The show is The Seven Deadly Sins....I enjoyed it a lot. (Not to be mistaken for "7 Deadly Sins" a generic fan service anime...I was very confused when my friend first recommended the former to me)
