Hey guys! I have a few ideas for what I'd like to do for the "pieces of the month" so to speak, but would love to get a vote. This will impact the monthly print club print but also be the theme in general I work with this month for pieces. ♥

For the main print/piece I'm thinking I'd like to stuck with a masculine subject, perhaps something a little conceptual and artsy.

First theme: Druidic, thinking body paint, animal fur, oak leaves. Halsin piece as the postcard/bonus print.

Second theme: Fey-like, think The Cruel Prince (Holly Black rocks, any fans here?), mushrooms and flowers, bug wings, iridescence. Astarion piece as the postcard/bonus print.

Yes, I did just pit those two together. fight! fight! fight! (lol, I'm just giving you all this burden.)

For some general news/ updates:

I'll be shipping out the rest of April's print club packs tomorrow so please let me know if you don't get a tracking number by the end of the week.

I am hoping to open a few 'open for anything' commission slots at the end of May/early June so please keep your eyes peeled!

feyspeaker

yes I am a fan of painting Halsin with no shirt and tacking wings on Astarion.

i still need to read The Cruel Prince, but GOD both of these options are so appealing

feyspeaker

it's lovely. ;A; hahaha, I could NOT decide so I thought I would let everyone else guide my hand!

feyspeaker

It's been quite a bit since I last finished anything of him! I did have a Valentine's Day piece in the works but I just had to scrap it bc it was looking too stiff

Cheshire Buchanan

I would die. Your halsin piece is what got me to subscribe lol

Xiren

Omg such a cruel choice to make 😭 Just gonna flip a coin cause I like both options so I'll be happy either way.

AlyssaGrim

Both were SO good, and a very hard choice. I had to go with Astarion. You could always do the other theme next month, if you like both enough 🫣🥰

feyspeaker

haha, I'm so sorryyyyyyy!! I figured both at least offer their own nice vibes. xD

Morgan W.

I already have your other Halsin prints, I need more 😂🥰

Xiren

They do for sure and that's why it's so hard. Both are great options and very good vibes.

feyspeaker

haha, that is true, though I never know where my whims are going to take me. I'm feeling naturey this month but could very well be doom and gloom for June. Doom & Gloom June might just be the best theme name...

Blodreina

I just love the way you paint Astarion I can never not vote for you painting him. (Love to Halsin also, it's hard choice!) Also Dark Fey is my jam!

Shadowlance

Option 2!!! Yaaaaas, and I adore Holly Black and The Cruel Prince. Give me Cardan vibes allllll day longgggg. But honestly, anything you create is beyond magical.

Blodreina

Also, I didn't know who Holly Black was, but I do now. Thank you for that! Amazon here I come!! 😁🥰

feyspeaker

yessss, hahaha. I was always a bit more of a Roiben girlie but Cardan is just so... you know. He's amazing lol. thank youuuu

feyspeaker

haha, yay!! The Cruel Prince is a great read. I also really like her older novel, Tithe- it might be my fave of hers and they are technically in the same universe. There are also some comics she wrote as well called The Good Neighbors in the same universe, the artist Ted Naifeh did a freaking awesome job imo

Zombrigit

I can't believe you'd make me choose between both of my husbands D:

AlyssaGrim

June is my birthday month! I can't wait lol

Remy deLioncourt

I love both of these ideas but have been on a dark fae kick for a few days now, still was not an easy choice

Alex Chea

OMG The Cruel Prince??? 😭😭 yessss.

Korrin Crawford

I love how you paint Astarion, I have so many of your Astarion prints. Which is why I chose Halsin, I love him dearly and would love more prints of him, too. Plus, druids are my fave.

Dren_xo

This was one of the hardest decisions of my life, I hope you know. 😭

Duskrose

Such a choice! My two absolute favourite men, and I have to pick?? Had to give it to Halsin though, as much as I adore Astarion, the world needs more Halsin art, and yours is top notch.

ANak

That Sweetheart piece lives rent free in my heart and my wall, love that well aged man

ColourOfNature

I would love to see a druid/earthy/Halsin themed piece of art! <3

Amy 🦋

I am legally required to vote for Astarion, but I love all your work, I'd love any of these prints I'm sure :)

Tiffalah

I need a new Halsin piece of yours so bad! I have the others already 😅 🥰

M

LOVE Holly Black! She’s my favorite author! I just got to meet her on her book tour and it was incredible. But I also would love a Halsin post card! This is such a hard decision!!! Whatever you make will be awesome, though!

feyspeaker

That's amazing!! I would love to meet her, she seems so sweet. I actually have the manuscript for The Queen of Nothing I won in a contest years back- I just LOVE her work. I would really like to do some Cardan art, it's good to know there are some fans around haha!! Thank you. ;A; ♥♥

feyspeaker

I need to paint Cardan again... it's been so long
