Romances aside, Pasqal is my favorite companion in Rogue Trader. I have been working on this piece for a while here and there and finally had the time to finish it this evening!!

This was less of a challenge than I thought it would be, which was really surprising since it involves a LOT of things I'm not particularly versed in painting.

I wanted to work harder on getting the background out of focus and guiding the eye a bit better to the character, without relying on the blur function and instead just trying to loosen up my brushstrokes. I have done this a bit previously but never so deliberately.

I don't really have much to say this time, though I'm really sad that this game doesn't have the popularity it deserves. It's really wonderful chatting with people who've played it. I have to try and remind myself that I have to paint what my heart wants to even if it isn't the hottest thing. I'm not really the type of person to follow trends much at all- very much a follower of "the heart wants what the heart wants" lol. It's only a matter of time before I start painting VtM: Bloodlines art again...

I hope you all are doing well, I'm working away at packing up print club orders for this month!

I love your medical work. Very detailed and thought provoking. ❤️

Thank you. It's probably because I have a severe doctor phobia lol. Medical body horror fascinates me!

Xiren

Oh doctors and dentists I get huge anxiety when I have to go, but their work is so fascinating. 😭 The struggles. Lol

Even having no idea who the characters are I can still appreciate the amazing amount of detail you put into these (and ohhhh nooooo not VTM 😏)

Once again... And again and again, another masterpiece. Gosh, your artwork inspired me to play Rogue Trader. 😍🥰

I really love your Rogue Trader pieces. I haven't played it yet, though I intend to at some point.

This makes me want to play the game , gorgeous art

I don't know how you manage to consistently manage to draw only the companions that I always keep in my party. I know Pasqal is married to the Omnisiah but he's still best boy in my heart. His quest line is so well done, too.

feyspeaker

Hahaha, we must have the same taste lol!! I have just been delighted every single time Pasqal has anything to say. Definitely made me fall for the Tech Priests.

feyspeaker

Thank you!!! It's really freakin good!!

Thank you!! I find the setting to be extremely inspiring. As a person who loves sci-fi and gothic fantasy it's basically a match made in heaven. Candles AND cables?? sign me up lol

feyspeaker

Thank you!!! Oh gosh please let me know what you think- I've found it to really scratch that itch that only the more old school CRPGs tend to be able to. I know you're similar company so I'm curious to hear your thoughts.

Thank you!!! Ugh man, I really wish that VtM had continued in the original Bloodlines and WoD MMO direction artistically. I don't find the new games to be inspiring at all (Thought I did really like Night Road and Shadows of New York). I want a Beckett game!

Zombrigit

Honestly I still think a lot of the look of bloodlines is really impressive (especially consider the just absurd amount of bugs in that game lol) I did also enjoy Night Road I’d love if someone did a visual novel version

creepy in an awesome way!

I'll let you know more when I get deeper in! 😁
