First of all, here is the link for this month's giveaway! ($7 tier and up eligible) Winner will receive a portrait commission and 8"x10" print of any character of their choice. Second place winner will receive an 11"x14" print of their choice! https://forms.gle/UebdCZfNbjju6aXx6

Seeing Kelpie in the Witcher 4 demo warmed my heart!!!! She was so magnificent.

I had to paint Ciri with her trusted mare for the mini print for Witcher month. I have my own beautiful black mare who I love more than my heart can handle, so I wanted to show the bond between the two of them. ♥

There is NOTHING like a quiet moment with a horse.

I hope you all are doing well, my husband and I finally got a house! woohoo! So I am going to be uprooted a bit next week as I settle in with my desk/computer setup and printing room. I think I've planned everything out so it shouldn't disrupt anything, just wanted to let you guys know if I'm slow on responsiveness.

Thank you so so much everyone for all of your support, kind words, and encouragement. You all are the BEST!!!

Kyah

Absolutely GORGEOUS! UGH! Everything about this. The colors, Ciri's expression-- you can just tell that Kelpie is safety and home. I'm in love 🧡 Congrats on your house!! 🏡🎉

Litsen

OMG! That's such a sweet and beautiful portrait of Ciri 😍 And the horse, wow! Impressive! (I'm no artist but my artist friends often tell how difficult it is to draw horses)

Duskrose

As a horse girl too, I know I live for these moments with my beloved beastie. I know exactly what Ciri is feeling here. A beautifully captured moment 🥰

feyspeaker

Thank you!!! Yes, I wanted to paint her in a more serene setting.

feyspeaker

Thank you, yes, exactly!! Ciri goes through a lot, but Kelpie is by her side. ;A; And, thank youuuu!!!

feyspeaker

Thank you so much. Yes, horses are absolutely cray weird to paint haha. I have spent so much time painting people, and animals significantly less so. I have to thank that at least I spend a lot of time around horses so at least I can kind of tell when something doesn't quite look right in a painting of one lol!!

feyspeaker

Awh, you get it!!! They are so special, it's hard to really explain to someone who hasn't felt that deep feeling you get when you just hug your horse and the world melts away no matter what. Thank you so much.

Songbird

I'M SO HAPPY TO HEAR YOU GOT A HOUSE!

Litsen

It definitely looks like you know how horses are supposed to look! love it!

feyspeaker

Thank you!!!!!! I'm so stressed about moving and getting things set up but I know it will pass. ;A; Maybe I can do a little tour of my workspace when I get everything set up haha

One of my favorite stories to tell is about my horse named Tunder. He was supposed to be Thunder but my 8 year old self forgot the H. Loved him with all my heart.
