Cyberpunk 2077 "Cyber Sexcapades" mock album cover (NSFW? fruit warning?? I'm sorry???) (Patreon)

I have had this god damned painting knocking around my head for nearly a year. a YEAR! why!

The in-game art in Cyberpunk 2077, particularly pieces by Luke Poller and Anna Podedworna, were just so stunning to me when playing. The game really is an absolute visual feast, and I love how a lot of the fake advertisements are pretty crass/dark/obnoxiously dystopian.

This is a kind of tribute to the game, and my love of Johnny Silverhand. I really wanted to try my hand at a cover for a single Samurai may have released, and so I picked a title from the track list on Blistering Love.

My headcanon for this piece is that the cover, when released, caused a bit of an uproar (much to the band's delight) and that Johnny was an asshole for the photoshoot. shocking. :)

I made one for myself, too, out of a busted up Rob Zombie jewel case. Absolutely delights me.

I'd really like to do more "prop" art like this (and my previous romance novel covers) but as always I feel like sticking to some kind of theme is antithesis to my very being.
