The tech tree of this series is weird. *SPOILERS* Humanity discovered maths before creating writing, and for some reason maths isn’t seen as a feat important enough to be mentioned. Or rather, it’s just mentioned and forgotten about. Another aspect that makes me chuckle is that a book was created before words were, so it’s most likely just picture of plants and IKEA style illustrated instructions on how to use them. Either that, or a bunch of emojies. So, 🌿😊, and 🍄☠️. I imagine a wojak Chopper and Hiriluk pointing at the skull and mushroom.

Yeah, in earlier chapters it mentioned humans putting their names together on something after marriage(tradition established by first sovereign fuxi), then shennong created some books about poison and medicine. Maybe the book was written in dao script or demon script (since shennong was strong), but that would be equally as weird since humans couldn’t use those unless they also had high cultivation, might need some quick fixes in the timeline.
