watering hole process (18+) (Patreon)

i didnt run a timelapse for this one, but i did get a few progress screenshots while i was working and thought someone might like to see how im building these up. im still playing with 3d models for various things and i think theyre extremely helpful in laying out the illustration and getting something to build off of. makes starting these a little less overwhelming! i really had no idea what i wanted to do with this when i sat down to start coloring.

i wish id gotten a shot between the second and third image--thats where i left off last night and i went to bed sure that i was going to start over haha it had an ugly phase and i felt lost. glad i powered through!

edit: i found some from that first stopping point i mentioned (third image)! i hateddd it at this point haha adding the additional tree helped a lot and i started to see the final
