It is finally here! Find the 1942 core attached to this post. Right now, as this post comes up Smoke Monster is showing this core on his YouTube channel. Join him in this virtual unboxing!

I expect to make the public release this weekend for MiST and MiSTer. Sorgelig will handle the MiSTer version directly.

How would I get it to work on my MISTer? I copied the files from the zip but only get a black screen after I select the 1942 core.

Do you know if remapped keyboard buttons work? I remapped the core with MAME keys - it does recognise the device while remapping, but Coin and Start buttons dont seem to remap! Thanks for the hard work really appreciate it.

hi. not possible to change rom in osd? lets say that the core could load the rom with the "original" name and in osd we could open other roms... there is already a hacked galaga-1942 rom that also works... this way we don't have to have folders with the same core and other rom! :)
