Joffrey ordered lord Janos to kill the baby and the other bastards to eliminate the risk of them claiming the throne in the future if they ever found out they were a child of Robert. Yes Jaime knows that Joffrey tommen and mrycella are his children.

My wording wasn’t the best. If they found out they were bastards they may rebel against the throne and try to start a war to take it. Robert did something similar when he was younger and took over from mad king Areys also killing Danys oldest brother Rhaegar

Jeez! i forgot how creepy Milisandre's introduction was! she is a priestess of a foreign religion which is more common in the east (across the narrow sea). Most people in westeros follow the religion of "The Seven". there are seven gods in this religion but in Milisandre's religion there is only one god, "the lord of light" she calls him. she converted stannis to her religion and they were burning all the symbols of the seven gods in that scene.

also, now that everyone knows Joffrey has no blood relation with robert, all of robert's bastards have a better claim than him. and anyone with a better claim to the throne than the king usually gets killed in this world. Stannis has the best claim by law though.
