Ok this was interesting. Jon is Dany's nephew by the way. I would hold off on any tribute vids until after tou finish the series because most that I have seen cover their full ark through the end of the series so you will get spoiled. But I did want to ask if you finished the "history" videos. I know you watched a few but it might be fun to watch some of those with you. Or you can even make a suggestion tab in your discord

When Jon was killed and brought back it was only 2 episodes for you, but it was a year for us haha.

Great to see you are feeling better Miya! I got a lot to say about this video lol. So this video is sorta supposed to make you rewatch old scenes with this new info in mind. It adds a whole new layer to why Ned made the decisions he made in season 1 specially. Ned obviously keeps this secret till his death because he saw first hand what happened to the targaryan children when Robert became king. Ned refusing to assassinate Dany first seems like him not wanting to kill children but he was probably also trying to avoid killing Jon's last living kin as well. Ned telling Cersie to run away with her children also at first seems like he is just being a good guy. But in reality he probably sympathizes with her deeply in that moment. Because just like Cersie, he also has a "son" whose true birth he is hiding from robert. Ned's decision to let Jon join the watch, even though the watch is a really awful place, may also seem like Ned being negligent but he probably saw the wall as the safest place for him to be too, to keep him beyond the reach of kings and the law. So that speech Aemon gives at the end of the video is a beautiful summary of Ned's life. A choice between his "honor on one hand and those he loves on the other". And every time, Ned chose those he loves (protecting Sansa, Jon and keeping his promise to Lyana). Last point I swear lol. Jon is not just high born. He is the crown prince's son. Sooo........

Yay! Glad you’re feeling better. Don’t know which of these you may have already seen, but here’s some non-spoiler funny GoT videos I highly recommend:

And GoT Honest Trailer Vol 1 & 2 (avoid the 3rd one for now, it contains season 7 and 8 spoilers but the first two are safe to search on YouTube and if the thumbnail for Vol 3 pops up, not to worry b/c it doesn’t give anything away)

Just a few comments: - Jon is still a bastard, because his parents were not married. It does not matter if they are both highborn - Raegar was Danys brother. So Dany is Jons aunt - Maester Aemon was a brother of Jons Great grandfather. It's really cool that they got to meet and had meaningful interactions even though they never knew about their relation - The show is adapted from the books of G. R. R. Martin. If I remember correctly Jon is murdered at the end of the last book. GRRM is still working on the next book. So from the books we don't know yet if Jon comes back to life and who his parents are. But most people think it's Lyanna. - It is very important for GRRM to tell the lore of GOT by the opinions and reflections of different people, which means you have to guess how it really happend. Much like the real history that is mostly written by victors and kings and seldom by losers or common people.
