Such a good episode. Cemented Baelor as my favorite ASOIAF character. I think you guys might be a bit confused about some of the names and who's who though (no spoilers for the show, just detail from the novella that will never be mentioned in the show because it's narration): The current king has four children/sons with a Dornish princess (in order): 1. Baelor - nicknamed Baelor Breakspear by the people because he beat Daemon Blackfyre (leader of the Blackfyre Rebellion) at tourney when they were 17, it's the name Dunk often calls him in his head in the novella; Targ purists like the Blackfyre supporters dislike him because he looks more Dornish than Targ (dark hair, dark eye) but pretty much adored by everyone else; has two sons (Valarr and another who isn't here) 2. Aerys - NOT THE MAD KING, just really obsessed with books; has no children 3. Rhaegal - apparently a bit mad but not in a dangerous/malicious way; has twin children 4. Maekar - the youngest despite looking older than Baelor lol; in the song Egg sings in episode 3, Maekar is referred to as the anvil to Baelor's hammer during the Blackfyre rebellion where they were a strong duo that crushed the Blackfyres between them in the final battle; has six children (we see three of them here; the rest are two girls and another boy) Notably, this line is very non-incestuous. The brothers are all married to women without a drop of Targ blood. And funnily enough, Maekar is married to a Dornish lady which means all his children are 75% Dornish, including Targ-supremacist Aerion. Baelor mentions Aerys and Rhaegal briefly in episode 2 as people who are similarly not suited to fighting like Daeron (Maekar's son). That's probably where you heard the name and got a bit confused because the Targs are annoyingly obsessed with repeating names (like the current king is Daeron the Good and Maekar's son is also named Daeron.) Aerys the Mad King is not Egg's brother. Egg is also not the son who is being prepared to become a maester. He's just the youngest kid who's kinda directionless at the moment.

Love the end discussion but it could use some clarity. Aemon is the maester at wall, and Egg is the youngest son. Mad King is couple generations later

Yeah, Aemon is the maester training at the citadel. Remember old mate "Maester Aemon" who had a brother once named Egg?
