3rd is the one where the Grail gets corrupted. 4th is Fate/Zero. 5th is Stay/Night. This is a potential 6th. (Doesn’t happen in all Worldlines, but it does in this one!)

This episode doesn't skip too much Light Novel content, thanks to it mainly focusing on the three-way battle, and a scene that ended up getting skipped is moved to next episode to help the fight flow better. Though there is again some additional information that was left out: - Gilgamesh actually, genuinely forgot to introduce himself at the end of the fight. He just tries to play it cool in front of Tiné. - The scarf/sash both Alcides and Hippolyta share is the famed "Girdle of Hippolyta" from myths, gifted to her by her father, Ares, even though the one Alcides has looks far more corrupted. In Fate, wearing it boosts the wearer's overall abilities, like strength, speed, etc, and that's how Hippolyta is using it. Alcides on the other hand only lets it wrap around his arm, and refuses to let the divine power into his body, focusing it solely on his bow and arrows. - The "UFO" Gilgamesh rides is called a vimana, which is a type of flying vehicle some divinities ride in the Hindu Epics. Apparently when he was collecting treasures from all over the world, he made a trip to India to snatch one of them for himself. - Alcides is the birth name of Heracles, that was given to him by his human parents. He specifically took on the name "Heracles", which literally means "Glory of Hera", when he started doing his Labors as penance. Not hard to guess why the current version would absolutely hate that name. - The cloth Alcides wears over his head is the "Pelt of the Nemean Lion". The 1st of the 12 Labors of Heracles is slaying the Nemean Lion, which was a lion with fur that was unable to be harmed by any mortal weapons. Heracles, being the Gigachad that he is, ultimately kills the lion by strangling it with his bare hands, since they technically don't count as weapons (even though they absolutely should). Then, after the lion is dead, he skins it by using its own claws, and takes the pelt as proof of his deed. And as an added bonus the Pelt still carries the property of being unable to be harmed by mortal weapons, making it an extremely useful tool for countering any weapons. This is also why so many depictions of Heracles have him wearing a lion pelt, since it is in reality the Pelt of the Nemean Lion. - As for Richard's "associates", you've actually seen another one of them already, back in Episode 1. When Assassin is bouncing all over the theater, Richard compares her speed to "Loxley". Then, when Assassin tries to use Zabaniya on him, there's a quick flash to a hooded individual with a crossbow in Richard's shadow, who shoots Assassin's hand to stop her attack. Richard then asks if "the comparison was not to your liking." That individual was Loxley, aka Robin of Loxley, more famously known as Robin Hood. Next episode though is where the Anime REALLY starts skipping over some good stuff, as sad as it is.

LoBlo Backbone

No. This is the seventh, presumably. Since there was a supposed sixth war in Fuyuki to "dismantle" the Grail that involved Rin, Waver, and Manaka Sajyou.

Robert

I think that happens later in the timeline.

Thank you for this comment! Great read.

It wouldn't keep counting. It's the 3rd, 4th. 5th, FUYUKI Grail War. This is the 1st Snowfield Grail War. Grail wars always designate their placement in a location/leyline.
