The Third Magic is Heaven’s Feel, which deals with the Materialization of the Soul. It’s got a lot of stuff can do, since it’s a True Magic, and so we don’t know a lot about it. But it can easily make someone truly immortal. Of the other five True Magics, the 2nd deals with Parallel Dimensions, which is Zelretch’s (the guy from the end of Episode 0). That one can let you freely jumpy world lines and draw an infinite supply of mana from them, to name just its most basic use cases. Another is the 5th, which deals with Time. It’s able to resurrect the dead by shunting the period of time in which a person died into the future, or temporarily borrowing the abilities of a future self. There are two others that we know very little about, but I would wager at least one of them has to do with the creation and destruction of matter and energy, since that just makes sense as something akin to these others for me and it’s brief description we get from one source or another.

The Pretentious

Prelati summoning herself is such a power move. For anyone who doesn't know, Francois Prelati was an Italian con artist from the 15th century who claimed he was a sorcerer. This led him to getting employed by royalty and a certain marshal of France named Gilles de Rais; yes, Catser from Fate/Zero. In fact, it was Prelati who took advantage of Gilles depression and pushed him towards the occult and sacrificing children, which led to Gilles becoming the child serial killer we know him as today. Funnily enough, Prelati escaped capture once Gilles was caught and left to do a similar con with a king, and almost got away with it again. Back then he was a menace who was essentially one of Europe's most wanted. As an aside, Gilles de Rai's noble phantasm from Fate/Zero is called "Prelati's Spellbook."

Now this, this episode right here is where the content skipping starts to go crazy. Buckle in, folks, because this is gonna be a lot: - First off, the Anime just straight-up skipped the summoning of True Caster: François Prélati. Now to those unaware, François Prélati was an actual, real person from the 15th century, a con-artist from Italy who claimed to be a sorcerer. Most notably, he was REALLY good friends with Gilles de Rais, who most probably remember as Caster from Fate/Zero. Prelati is actually the one who gave Gilles his Noble Phantasm, the hilariously evil book that he uses to summon unspeakable horrors. The summoned Prélati is also very specifically the first, original body of Prélati, and even he was genuinely surprised that he was summoned by himself. The two of them also have a quick chat about how their old pal Gilles was summoned during the 4th Fuyuki Grail War. - A certain person was skipped during the scene where Francesca was mentioning the people who had killed her in the past, and that big-shot is Van-Fem. Van-Fem is one of the Twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors, who are effectively the peak of vampire kind in the Nasuverse, with some exceptions. Now, you'll want to remember this name in particular, because we'll definitely be hearing more from him as the anime goes on. Sadly though, a lot of it is in the skipped content sections. - The summoning/corruption of Heracles had a TON removed sadly, most of which explained his motivations and outlook very well. When Bazdilot orders him: "Recall the lives of the humans you've met." each of the quick flashes in the Anime were actually flashbacks in the Light Novel and the Manga. They were moments of particular significance to Heracles among all the people he met during his life. I'm not gonna write the full things here, but they were all pretty damn cool for mythology nerds to enjoy. "Stay away from me, monster!" was screamed by Eurystheus, who was a cousin of Heracles and the king who burdened him with the 12 Labors. He's also commonly known as an absolute Giga-Loser in mythology, so him screaming in fear at Heracles, who was quite literally just standing in front of him and staring down, is extremely in character. "Only when you're together with me, you won't be a monster." was said by Jason, the Leader of the Argonauts, during his first meeting with Heracles, when he recruited him into his crew. It's a genuinely sweet moment, since Jason, while extremely self-centered, says to Heracles that even if everyone views him as a monster at the moment, as long as he stays with him, a future king, eventually everyone will start to see Heracles as a Great Hero, the mighty warrior serving his King. "Don't detest your own blood." was said by Deianira, Heracles' last wife before his death, right before she committed suicide. Long story short, Deianira is tricked into soaking Heracles' shirt with Hydra Venom (that she didn't know was Hydra Venom), and when Heracles puts it on he obviously gets poisoned by it, ultimately leading to his death. Deianira, realizing what she had done, ultimately kills herself to atone. And finally "Father!" is screamed by one of Heracles' children as he slaughters his family, thanks to Hera cursing him with madness that caused him to see his family as enemy soldiers. - Another short moment from Alcides was cut, this one happening right after he returned from his battle with Gilgamesh and Hippolyta. When Bazdilot asked how the famed King of Heroes was, Alcides replies with: "Strong." He then proceeds to explain how at the start of the battle, he was basically ragebaiting Gilgamesh to catch him off guard, but Gilgamesh didn't fall for it, and Alcides respects him for that. - In the Light Novel, Waver actually calls Flat on his phone, and gives him a good lecture for his dumbassery. He also has a talk with Jack, which leads the two to understand each other better, and also share their concerns over Flat. While not massively important to the overall plot, this was a nice scene for the characters, so I'm pretty sad that it was cut. - Sigma's "First Trial" was shortened considerably in the anime. The thing that lets him gain some distance from Assassin is that he orders his Servant, who he calls a very particular name that you'll hear in the next episode, to stab Assassin. Even though it's a bluff, Assassin doesn't take the risk, and uses one of her Noble Phantasms to create an area of protection around herself, which forces her to stay still, giving Sigma an opportunity to run.
