Ace Sock Vims

And on this episode of Skipped Light Novel Content: - One of the bigger ones is that Faldeus discreetly sent a group of mercenaries to gauge Flat's abilities. Of course, Flat and Jack lowdiffed all 9 of them in literal seconds, before the mercenaries even realized what was happening. Aside from just fun character interactions, this scene also ends up showing Flat's side as a mage, which makes cutting it all the more unfortunate, since it's a great character moment for him. - Yet another phone call between Caster and Orlando got cut, this one focusing on Caster asking him to send over all the Clan Calatin members who got their Noble Phantasms broken during the fight with Jester. There was also a bunch of stuff relating to his True Name, but since the Anime still hasn't revealed it, I'll leave the specifics out. - Philia and Halluri had overall more screentime, and had some fun and somewhat terrifying interactions while walking towards Bazdilot's hideout. A lot of it was also Philia giving her views on modern humanity, which was overall pretty cool. - Halluri's backstory was mostly cut, leaving only the basics behind. Incidentally, her grandfather was the mage from Fate/Zero who controlled bees. You know, the one from the plane that Kiritsugu was forced to blow up with his adoptive mother still inside. - There was a scene with Faldeus and his subordinate watching over what happened during the Factory battle, and comparing it to previous Holy Grail Wars. Obviously, they made a ton of references to other Fate works. - Alcides unleashed the Stymphalian birds, famous from the Sixth Labour of Heracles, against Philia, and unlike in the Anime, the LN had a whole flock of them, like in the myths. - Hippolyta actually senses the summoning of the Stymphalian birds, since they are the familiars of her father, Ares. She has a brief discussion over it with her Master, followed by being embarrassed by her Master calling her by a nickname; "Polyta". A shame that this was cut, given her already little screentime. - The battle at the factory was shortened considerably as well. It wasn't just limited to that singular space. Alcides, Berserker and Philia razed that place to the ground during their battle and continued it along the industrial area. Though they did get interrupted the same way.

On the nature of Berserker's summoner: as hinted by the presence of bees in one of her flashbacks (and her last name), she is related to the dead apostle that was on the plane Kiritsugu shot down in Fate/Zero
