SOS Bros React - HunterxHunter Episode 44 - Uvogin's Four Course Meal

Hahahahaha!!! Uvogin is an absolute beast! I thought those Shadow Beasts had some pretty sweet designs, but nope! Doesn't matter! They're dead. That was awesome that Kurapika was able to get the jump on him, but he's playing with fire. He's real smart though, so hopefully the Shadow Beasts will be enough of a warning not to let his guard down. What did you think of the episode? Be aware guys, yes you can only really master your innate category, but that doesn't mean you can't use techniques that utilized different areas. You can have a technique that uses both enhancing and manipulating, or other combinations.

I'm glad you brought up the Phantom Troupe camaraderie at the end. The simple things like going on a beer run for the pals really add an extra special side to them. Some juicy antagonist umami right there.

I've been waiting for this arc for months :3 Basically since you've started watching HxH. Totally amazing - my favourite "reactors", my favourite anime, my TOP5 series of all time. Oh, tuesdays and thursdays are so incredibly fun thanks to you, guys <3

Jacky Lin

My favorite time of the day, everyday.

The first time I watched this episode I started laughing in disbelief when Uvogin bit Leech's face. I could not believe what I just saw lmao. Great discussion again! I'm really enjoying everything you've got to say about this arc so far!! :)

In Kurapika's case, the only thing I can say is: "When people ask you what has happened here, tell them the Kurta remembers." ;)

Just because you're a conjurer doesn't mean you cant use manipulation techs

Aya

I honestly think that a timer is the best option, but I was wondering if you would be able to add the subtitles throughout your reaction, so that mobile people could follow along? I don't know what exactly could work.

Man, the post discussions are always amazing. I feel like once every two or three episodes, you guys think up a plot thread or nen technique that would actually be a great addition and isn't actually in the story. I obviously won't say what it was this time, but man those talks are riveting. Keep it up guys!

Remember that this restraining chain is the one that Kurapika swore to use only on Spiders.

Princess Paladin

Just incase you didn't know, Melody is a woman. You don't need to refer to her as "them".

This was even mentioned during the Kastro fight. He's an enhancer who used both conjurer and manipulator techniques.

In fact, I would suggest you find a screen pic or go back to when Wing was explaining it, but he shows that based on your innate category, how well you would be able to use the other categories in terms of percentages.

They already have energy blasts. That was literally what Franklin did to kill all those mobsters. He was shooting lots and lots and lots of energy blasts. It was incubating in his bladder, not his liver, which is why he needs to urinate frequently and change the ammonia level of his bladder.

I think they know. They call her "she" throughout most of the review and they did call out that she was female when she herself explicitly brought it up a few episodes ago. I think when they said "them" , it was probably just a mistake as he was rushing through his thoughts and theory about Kurapika.

Oh, okay. All those training and exposition episodes kind of run together. :p All I remember was seeing it and knowing that somebody stated this already at some point.

kevinup

still getting goosebumps on my fifth or sixth rewatch. <3 HxH

No they dont have energy blasts. They have emission blasts...

Princess Paladin

The blasts are made out of Nen aura. Which is energy. They are literally blasts of energy. There's no such goddamn thing as "emission blasts". If you look up "emission blasts" in a google search it REDIRECTS YOU TO ENERGY BLASTS. DX
