2026-09-07 16:00 (While I am trying to be careful only discussing/using what we've seen animated so far for speculation, I have read the manga, so if you feel I'm skating too close to spoiler territory, please let me know) --- Agott, sweetheart, the fact that your mind immediately jumped from musing about these creatures that deliberately make themselves weaker when they pair off to *Coco*, well. I appreciate the self-reflection! It's good! But you also seem like you're developing a crush on your roommate. The thing about Coco being better than the other girls at magic - it's as Qifrey points out, they each have their strengths. Coco might be better at thinking outside the box in part because she didn't grow up being taught the "right" way to approach magical problems. Hard to tell how much of Agott's approach is the result of people being deeply terrible towards her because she *wasn't* a natural prodigy, as we heard in her flashback (including that bullshit from her own mother), we don't know enough about Tetia for much speculation at all, and we've only started to scratch the surface with Richeh. The mangaka (Kamome Shirahama) did a watch-along thing on twitter as each episode came out and she said that when Olruggio needs to take a break (either because he's stuck on a big project or just finished one) he emerges from his atelier to sack out wherever Qifrey and the girls are, hence him dozing on the couch during lessons in this episode, which I find very sweet. Also, funny that we see Qifrey visibly sleep deprived and shortly after, Olruggio shows up with sleep aids/comfort items that are the same color as Qifrey's eye. I am sure this means absolutely nothing. The pot in Richeh's room works like a windowway except it's locked to a single location, so while I don't think it was ever stated outright, the implication seems to be that it's the same little cave we see in the flashback with her and Riliphin. Lots more to say on that situation but it's gonna have to wait because spoilers. Agott with crumbs all over her face to remind us that she's still like 12 years old, no matter how seriously she tries to act. The VAs for Agott, Richeh, and Euini also voiced their kid's respective myrphon, so I am sure that was a fun day in the booth.
