We're coming up on the end of Saga of Tanya the Evil!! As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next. This poll is DRAMA themed! All shows on this list are considered top-notch representatives in this category, and Jacob and I are excited to watch all of them!

Vote for ANY AND ALL that you would like to see. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Wednesday when Tanya's final episode goes public.

Thank you all so much for your continued generous support! Looking forward to whatever you awesome peeps pick!!

By the way, Jacob has seen Anohana and Your Lie in April, but is definitely looking forward to re-watching them with me.

Thilde

OH MY GOD! I never expected to see A Place Further Than The Universe on a poll so soon! PLEASE VOTE FOR IT PEOPLE. It's so good, and I know the bros would love it.

Rhiannon

A PLACE FURTHER THAN THE UNIVERSE. I'M EXCITED AS HECK.

SuperTallBird

I have a feeling we know what's about to win.

Morten Eland

Eventhough I also woted for other shows I really hope your lie takes it...all around great shows on this list though :)

lordpanda

Your Lie In April!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Suresh

No Sangatsu REEEEE xD

Thilde

I'll remind people that didn't read the post that Jacob has already seen Your Lie in April. I feel like it'd be better if it was a show both of them have not seen.

Ryan H

Come on violet!

Ryan H

Too many great options

Evan!!

I want Rakugo...

Rhiannon

I need to stop refreshing this poll, this is way too intense!

Rhiannon

Let's hope that whichever of the top contenders loses, that they get another chance later on!

LordDarius42

Honestly, they are all great choices. Violet Evergarden and A Place Farther Than the Universe are my picks only because they are the newest.

cinna

ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ A Place Farther Than the Universe or I riot ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

Luis Alfredo

Shouwa Genroku Rakugou Shinjuu is one of the master pieces of modern anime! for me the second best show of the last few years just behing Made in abyss and by a very thin margin, I got so excited making this comment that I was making it in Spanish until I remembered that you speak English hahahaha :3 I hope Rakugou wins!

Ergzay

Please stop voting for Your lie in April, it's not a well done show.

Craig Starbird

I'm a fan of most of these shows (or excited to see the one o haven't) but I'm interested if you guys are still interested in reacting to Land of the Lustrous. It got second place on three polls in a row so there was obviously interest and I think it would fit well on the channel (there's lots to discuss). Looking forward to whatever wins regardless

Jaime Ruiz

You guys should check out Cowboy Bebop, its very episodic and just a fun ride space cowboy

Joshua Martin

Darling in the Franxx should be added

Rhiannon

Man, A Place Further Than the Universe and Your Lie in April are keeping me on the edge of my seat.

arcbun

I tend to vote towards shows that can generate more interesting discussion-- A Place Further Than the Universe would be a fun ride

Lærke

I next poll, try watching March comes in like a lion. It's a very good drama

Zeenius

I know it's not the popular opinion but I'd love for any of these option but YliA to win :/

bennydelon

I definitely don't want to watch Your Lie in April... I watched the first few episodes when it came out and I found it really bad. I haven't heard about A Place Further than Universe but I'm voting for that, just because it's 2nd right now and it could defeat Your Lie in April.

Erik

Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso is so overrated imo.

Daniel Marklund

I haven't seen any of these so I can't vote :/

Filipino AMVs

There is a certain episode in Violet Evergarden that destroyed me, I wish to impart the same pain to the bros.

zeid c

I voted for a place further than the universe, violet evergarden, your lie in april. Since i cant decide on a single one the rest is up to you guys!!!!

Irimu

How come Rakugo isnt geting any votes? As far as "drama" goes its probably the best on this list.

Michelle Jackson

Please vote for Rakugo! It's one of the most well written shows I've ever seen!

Winter Chess Four

this isnt even a competition, your lie in april is one the best anime of all time

Winter Chess Four

for the next poll you should include legend of the galactic heroes!

Edward Li

next one should also have kekkai sensen (blood blockade battlefront)

Yuion

If Jacob has already seen Your lie in April this has to be Violet Evergarden

cinna

Reminder: Jacob has seen Anohana and Your Lie in April. Lets give the boys something neither has seen. Rakugo is probably one of the best pure drama shows in the past decade. It absolutely deserves to be at the top despite my preference for another show on the list. A Place Further Than the Universe explores loss and friendship on a trek to Antarctica. There are zero bad or even average episodes. It's an amazingly gorgeous show visually, musically, and emotionally. if that doesn't sell you, it's a Madhouse original.

Rhiannon

Seriously, I can't overstate how above average A Place Further Than the Universe is. Every episode is consistently good. There isn't a low point.

Bowlobrains

Going to be so tilted if A place further loses too you lie in april.

Crozzo

i want your lie in april SO BAD!

cinna

Gigguk just posted an amazing video on A Place Further Than The Universe. It contains spoilers (so beware), but it's an amazing review of an excellent show.

Bowlobrains

Please atleast consider A place further than the universe as a replacment for The devil is a part timer if it doesnt win this poll.

Anonimowy Gaal

Damn it, two series i'm most interested in are on 1st and 2nd place :3 Now i know i won't be having any regrets :D

Thilde

Aw man, Your Lie in April is gonna win. I really want them to react to A Place Further Than The Universe. They'd love it so much, and neither of them have seen it.

Lazy_Scorpio

One of the brothers has already seen Your Lie in April and Anohana....I'll just pick Rakugo once again.

Ghostnotes

I really hope your lie in april wins, its one of my favourites

Tammi M

A Place Further Than The Universe. This is a must watch.

Silver Bard Games

Good list. Rakugo Shinju is the clear winner here, but I'd be happy with any of these series.

Sen Ogino

Only four days left and YLiA is pulling further ahead :( Gah, I really hope they include A Place Further Than The Universe in another poll! It’s such a masterpiece — almost like watching a high budget anime film, but as a series!

Xeltos

Gah, Anohana needs to win some day! D: But YLIA is great too!

The Anime Bugs

Meanwhile, here I am hoping that they put Gintama on these polls one day......sigh

cinna

Final call for A Place Further Than The Universe. The odds aren't completely insurmountable.

Sen Ogino

Caleb and Jacob! If somehow, A Place Further Than The Universe doesn't get 22 more votes by the end of the day (to overtake YLiA), please consider it as a replacement for Devil Is a Part Timer!, like someone suggested above. If you look at this thread, there are so many of us who'd really love for you to watch it, and we're still vocal about it even in the last day of the poll!
