We're coming up on the end of Ping Pong the Animation!! As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next.

This poll only has shows from this year's anime seasons, and none are half-blind reactions!

Vote for ANY AND ALL that you would like to see. We always take note of which shows get 2nd/3rd place. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Wednesday when Ping Pong the Animation's final episode goes public.

Thank you all so much for your continued generous support! We're having so much fun going through these shows with you incredible people!

GenericSideCharacter

Gonna root for the absurdist and heartwarming comedy that is Hinamatsuri with all my heart

SAL

Welp, looks like we're doing Slime bois.

Moritz Weissenberger

I don't get the Hype around Slime... I watched it with quite high expectations and its... boring? I just hope the better animes prevail

Torango

Banana Fish pleaseeeeee

uwu owo

no goblin slayer so has to be slime

Skyler Gunn

Don't give into recency bias, grand blue is the best choice on the list

TheHumourTumour

You know what time it is bois and gals: S L I M E

Spikà

YEA BOY! SLIMA DATTA KEN!

Mardenzin

goddamit another shitty isekai...

AardBard

Haven't watched anything on this poll but I've heard a lot of good things about Hinamatsuri, so I'll be giving it a vote.

GooeyEngineer

oh god, 2 great choices, hina and slime

Extrieve

It'll be so depressing if Hina doesn't win

cinna

MAH BOYES

vifft

is having a second episode of Hippo an option? The series is quite long, Love your reactions

Chu Heng Shiau

Hinamatsuri is a really great comedy with unexpectedly heartwarming moments that are really well-done too. It's definitely worth a watch.

Lazy_Scorpio

Hinamatsuri or Wotakoi would be good.

Galorian

It's slime time! :D

Waleed.

Hopefully Steins;Gate 0 wins bruh

LNDWLKR

I wish Asobi Asobase had made this list. It aired the same season as Grand Blue and I thought it was overall a better comedy. Hinamatsuri was one of my favorites of the year so I’ve got to go with that.

Patrick Dawson

God there are so many great shows from this year that seeing this list is almost frustrating

Filipino AMVs

Ah was half-expecting to see Land of the Lustrous. Rooting for SG;0 but it looks like it's gonna lose again...sigh.

Rortyry

Poor steins gate

ony

cmon, it gotta be hinamatsuri, they would love it

Serkan

90% is trash

RSPGMS

I don't know any of these! which one should get my vote?

Sharknessa

Another poll in which I don't want to vote for anything. T_T Zombie Land Saga didn't make the list? Really? ._.

Zhaslan

Wotakoi surely doesn't get enough love... One of the best heartwarming romance anime I've ever seen.

Damiester

lol no love for High Score Girl, Girl's Last Tour and Houseki no Kuni huh

Travis Saar

Hinamatsuri and Wotakoi are actually the only good shows in this, wow. I don't think any other even gets past a 5 or 6 / 10.

Quinn Kaplan

man is steins gate ever going to be selected jesus

Canadian_Caesar

Grand Blue is the best comedy on this list, fight me.

Ghoul

why would someone vote for slime over steins gate smh

Senpai

The fact that they're not going to know how great Hinamatsuri is makes today even more depressing than it already was.

Colin

When HunterxHunter ends you guys need to do 2 more polls just like this, minus the one that wins lol

Rhiannon

Really surprised that Hinamatsuri is doing as well as it is, it's the one I want to win but I didn't realize it was popular enough to outpace Steins;Gate 0. That said this is a great poll for me because all three of the ones that are getting big numbers are ones I'd like to see the Bros react to.

Travis Saar

Unfortunately it looks like the Bros are gonna have to waste 24 weeks on Slime, it's a shame but they're watching enough other good stuff that it's not a big deal

Sam

I didn't expect to see slime on a poll, this is a very nice surprise. Just when I was questioning if I should keep my sub or not.

Resto

I havn't been paying attention. Is there a reason Goblin Slayer isnt up there?

Mitch Riggins

You should have put Bunny Girl Senpai as a choice. It's easily the best show of this current season and might even be the best show of the year

Cade Hartman

Odd that Bunny Girl Senpai isn't an option, seeing as its definitely one of the best shows of the year

Travis Saar

Really wish Bunny Girl Senpai was on this list, I'd think it'd be something they really enjoy. Only show that held my interest for more than 3 episodes over the past couple of seasons. Pretty bad time for anime rn tbh.

SONMUNHAK

Slime... what a disappointment

Juliane Ivanow

Will wait for a old-school anime themed poll.

KasaiKouhai

why is bunny girl senpai not in here

yukiyaya

When finally the result of the poll doesn’t make me lost all semblance of sanity. SLIME, LET’S GO!!!

ErinDeer77鹿七七

Life is hard for an Otaku is really cute and interesting!!!! love this!!!

lighth0uses

rest in piece bfish, damn

SuperTallBird

This list is really a bad representation of the season. No Bunny, Goblin, or Zombie anywhere to be found. Try again.

2026-09-10 00:00 I’m glad Bunny Senpai isn’t here tbh

RandomThorn

This is Steins:Gate 0's 4th chance right? Look I don't know how you come up with the themes and all and I don't mind Steins:Gate popping up a lot however... Overlord hasn't got another shot since it's poll despite being only a few votes off winning. Now I could pass it all off as coincidence if it wasn't for the simple fact that Overlord could easily be justified to be in this poll as two of it's three seasons aired this year. Granted, there will be an upcoming poll for HunterxHunter and you already plan to give it a chance there. Don't take this the wrong way, love your content, just can't help wonder your avoiding it for some reason.

Doofus

Man...it’d be nice to get some comedy like hinamatsuri for once

Ricardo NOT Milos

these options are all trash, who the hell picked these ??

bennydelon

These shows are all right but I wish they had a slot for more artistic/experimental anime like Ping Pong.

SmilePlease

Man, I ADORE Slime,,, but it's so unfair to see HInamatsuri get snuffed out by a more widely known show again... I think you guys would honestly also enjoy HInamatsuri way more than Slime since I kinda doubt that Isekai is something they really like unless it's a parody (Konosuba).

EvAnn

"it's so unfair to see HInamatsuri get snuffed out by a more widely known show again..." As a Rakugo fan, I feel you. Honestly, there should be a poll for popular shows only. Then it would actually be an interesting to see which comes on top.

Ponkan

Sakuma: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Smile.

BlackBird

Damn I thought we're finally getting Hinamatsuri but then Slime is on the list..... oh well

maple

Picking up Slime because it obviously won. First Reaction: WTF AM I WATCHING?'

Toast Batman

Man, I came here ready to vote for Golden Kamuy. Guess I'll pitch in to give Hinamatsuri the recognition it deserves instead.

Lærke

when is the rwby reaction dropping? Just curious

Malcolm

Slime is one of those weak, naive isekai novel (done badly too), don't do it.

oIO username OIo

I'd really like to see Hinamatsuri as the winner, but i guess slime fan base too strong in this poll. I guess, the lesson we received from DARLING in the FRANXX - never overrate ongoing show before it end, already forgotten. Also, it should be - Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku (translation of title from MAL)

Tony

Im rather disappointed that grand blue isn’t getting the recognition it deserves. I personally thought it was one of the best comedy anime to come out in a while, in my opinion slightly funnier than even kono suba

Irimu

Hell yeah its slime time! Better than Goblin Slayer if you ask me (To be clear I like Goblin Slayer I just like Slime more) and a serious contender for anime of the year (at least of the new shows).

RSPGMS

What do I think about "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime"winning? Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say.

Balurion

Poor Steins Gate....

Yuion

For me its either Hinamatsuri or Slime. Preferably slime but Hinamatsuri would be awesome too Also im so happy grand blue is so low in rank. Makes me appreciate this community even more :D

dale cunningham

Reincarnated as a Slime will be fine, but i really think you need to touch on a rom-com or two and Wotakoi: Life is Hard for an Otaku is a great one that doesn't feature high school students!

Pillow Dash

Can I just vote for Rakugo, even if it's from 2016? :Ъ

Pillow Dash

Seriously, though, I'm personally glad that Goblin Slayer is not on the list. The show is not the best, but it would probably win because it's so popular, I guess?

ranelli38

No Goblin Slayer or Bunny Girl ? :'(

tsainoah

Man this sucks. Why choose Slime out of all the good shows? It’s super mediocre and is nothing new compared to Overlord, yet Overlord lost the polls. Jeez

yungblood

guys I don't think you realize grand blue is up there that shit is funny as hell

Ricardo NOT Milos

No Zombieland, no Bunny girl, no Goblin Slayer..*sigh* such a trash selection. Whoever was responsible for this needs to be fired ASAP.

Rhiannon

My dearest desire is that people realize that no amount of saltiness will ever dissuade the Bros from watching whatever wins. It would make the comments in these polls so much more pleasant to read.

cinna

RIP Banana Fish

Garikai

rip Grand Blue and Steins gate 0. But for me none of it matters since they've already done the chimera ant arc of hxh so it's all gucci. Never heard of the current leader in the poll, surprised it's killing it but fair enough.

Rhiannon

Holy hell, has there ever been an anime that took such a strong lead in these polls before?

Jhoita Arcaya

Sad that Banana Fish or Steins:Gate 0 didn't win but the Slime one is entertaining.
