We're coming up on the end of March Comes Like a Lion!!  As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance so we all know what's coming next.

This poll's theme is Character Drama!

Vote for ANY AND ALL that you would like to see. We always take note of which shows get 2nd/3rd place. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Friday when March Comes Like a Lion's final episode goes public.

Thank you all so much for your continued generous support!

- Jacob has seen Anohana -

TheHumourTumour

Alright weebs, you know what to do. It's time for Anohana

ErinDeer77鹿七七

Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii is one of my fav love & romantic anime!!! awwwww

Osiss

hibike euphionium

p-o-t-k

Oof these are some good picks. Blasted to see Aggretsuko on the list but having it go against Euphonium and Rakugo will be tough to see.

Leaky Peach

Pleeeeeeease push Rakugo guys.

Pixy

You fuckers better vote Wotakoi

asdy

Prayers for rakugo

Thilde

I'd vote Anohana if Jacob hadn't seen it already. Can't decide now.

Syn the ediror

I just watched anohana for the first time. I'd love to relive those tears

Argo

We should have Run with the Wind on one of these polls, it's an amazing drama and right up their alley. Instead we get Wotakoi losing badly for the 7th time (just Tuesday slot it Jacob!).

YatoRGS

I really enjoyed Anohana up until I recently rewatched it. I hadn't realized how terrible the characters are and how overly melodramatic the anime is. It was quite the exhausting rewatch.

Thilde

Uh Anohana just jumped like 20 votes in the span of a minute

Lazy_Scorpio

For those who aren't aware but prefer full blind reactions and discussions: One of them had already seen Anohana.

Lazy_Scorpio

Really hoping that Rakugo gets its day in the sun. Both the art of rakugo storytelling and the story surrounding the characters are pretty fascinating to me. It also has a similar, if more melancholic overall, feel to it that March Comes in Like a Lion has or that's how I feel anyway (although the MC is a more energetic dude). Does anyone else sort of feel that way? Not that it doesn't also give you room to breathe. It doesn't have the same sort of comedy, but there are moments of genuine happiness for the characters, in case anyone is wondering.

MaruMaru

Ahhhh I hope Hibike Euphonium gets a chance

bennydelon

It's time for Rakugo! first real chance to win a poll

GooeyEngineer

Time for me to just sit back and watch plastic lose again, :(

Luis Cruz

Please be Anohana. I wish this with all my heart!

Thios

Im surprised that Rakugo is so popular in the polls, even having voted for it myself

DeadSwan

I have not seen any of these but Rakugo looks the most interesting, so i'm gonna vote for that one.

Canadian_Caesar

Anohana's vote count will start out strong then eventually collapse, as is tradition. I hope I'm wrong this time, but I've lost count of how many times I've seen it on a poll here.

Haider Ali

When are we going to get Demon Slayer??

Casioka

Rakugo is such a beautiful anime with a fascinating story. It will make you feel all sorts of emotions and really have a heart for the characters. PLEASE RAKUGO!

cinna

Go go lets go, lets go Rakugo!

Teeaboo

Rakugo is by far the show the bros will get the most out of.

tsainoah

Please Demon Slayer.... It's the best anime in the last decade no joke. Super fire! Even Ninja said it on twitter, best anime of all time, and 13k people agreed with his tweet!

RandomThorn

Wow I thought I was okay in this area, but all I have seen of this list is 6 episodes of Rakugo. Still, you guys should give Run With the Wind a poll spot, I'm fairly certain it would count as a character drama. After being a viewer so long, I expected this kind of poll, so I will patiently wait for another show to end for Demon Slayer

James Laing

This might finally be Rakugo's chance! It's a story about story telling, so I think its immensely fitting for the bros.

Ezutess

Hope you guys give Run With the Wind some consideration. It'll probably never win a poll, but it's one of the best character dramas, and anime in general, that I've seen

Davies

All my love for Rakugo, i hope it wins because its so underrated and wonderful.

Xeltos

Man, AnoHana is never gonna get it. It's been 84 years...

Luis Alfredo

Rakugou is a master piece! hope it finally wins

Trxps

I really hope Run with the wind will make it to one of these polls someday, it's really an amazing show

Pillow Dash

So... I've been a patreon for like, a year and a half... then due to financial difficulties stopped donating for about 7-8 months... Now I'm back, and glad to see that nothing has changed, and that Rakugo is STILL in polls. And by 'glad' I mean JUST LET IT WIN ALREADY, PEOPLE, it's been a thousand yeeears!

yukiyaya

Rakugooooo rakugoooooo dont break my heart again pleasssseeeeeee

trinitod

There are 10000 reactions for Anohana already!! Why do we need another one? It is not even that good.

Xeltos

Jacob already seen a few anime that have won. It's already been shown that it's still a good reaction.

Zoidze

God, is it really FINALLY Rakugo time?

KasaiKouhai

i hate to see Hibike losing to fucking wotakoi

Cunning Linguist

Hibike is too far behind. Guess we'll settle for Rakugo

Casioka

Rakugo is also Jacob’s alley if you think about it...

Araragi Senpai

Imagine paying to be a Patron and voting for Anohana when one of them already has seen... can't be me.

MaruMaru

Euphonium fans rise up

Connor Brown

Currently on a re-watch of Euphonium (shouts out to Teeaboo!) But of that list its a easy pick for me.

Marika Pauley

as much as I would love to see them watch Hibike! Euphonium, gotta go with Rakugo and just hope Euphonium wins next time.

Lufttwafe

Plastic Memories is hard. I believe that’s was my first anime. The ending is heavy af

Lufttwafe

Don’t know anything about other 5 anime xD

Casioka

RAKUGO IS GETTING ITS TIME TO SHINE!! I’m so hawppy!

asdy

Rakugo is finally winning. This does put a smile on my face

DefensiveOnion

March Comes In Like a Lion passing the Baton to Rakugo is equivalent to Jordan passing the torch to Lebron/ East Germany and West Germany tearing down the Wall together/ Pancakes, Waffels and French Toast debaters sitting united on one Table/ Bootaylovers shaking hands with Breasttlovers etc.... It's a marvelous sight to behold :)

Thios

mmmm... to start rewatching rakugo because I'm excited or to wait for the reactions....

Eovesnr

OMG RAKUGO IS KILLING IT WHAAAAT?!?!?

Sally999

Yes Rakugo finally makes it

Mr Nr

Since Rakugo won please mods if possible let them know to at least watch the blu-ray version of the first episode since what was 48 mins in tv is 82 mins on blu-ray thus adding a tons of content they couldn't fit in tv version due to the time slot. There are good subs out for the blu-ray version for both seasons just different groups sadly.

Jaguar Man

Anohana... damn. I wanted that to win this round. Hopefully they decide to watch it in another slot.

Pillow Dash

I... ... ... ... ...I actually cannot believe what I'm seeing. Like... I've been voting for Rakugo ever since it was first included in one of these polls. Which was... *I went back to one of my own comments from November of 2018 to check* "on a 4k milestone poll created on October 23, 2017" So... It's actually kind of surreal to see it win after two years of other series coming in first. Wow. P.S. Even though I haven't watched the series myself, and even though one of the Bros has already seen it, I now feel obligated to vote for Anohana for any future poll it appears in. Anohana fans have waited long enough.

amiamalie

I somehow missed this poll, but just wanted to add that I'm personally so so so happy they'll finally be experiencing rakugo!! ♥ This series has made me cry more than any other, still does with every rewatch. Oh man.
