Hi folks,

So Matt and I had a chat about this and thought the thing which makes most sense is for us to  do is record a livestream thing, which Galaxy Brain Gurus can access if they happen to be free and feel like joining in, OR we will just waffle on some requested topic and release the video afterwards.

Given our locations the likely time for this will be early morning for us which would be evening in the US (around 7pm NY Time or midnight in the UK).

Matt's out in the Australian wilderness at the start of the week so likely to take place towards the end of the week but we will keep you informed as soon as we sort out! If anyone has any requests for topics let us know!

How about talk to us about the vacuum that has been left behind in the wake of trumps twitter, q anon, and parler, McLuhan’s the medium is the message as it relates to the gurus use of the internet, as well as what you guys find interesting in your fields of study...

I second parler and the choice for twitter to ban a number of guru-tangential figures and followers as good topics since many gurus have an active social media presence.

Decoding The Gurus

Does seem a relevant topic and I think my opinion might diverge from Matt's a little so would be interesting to cover!

Have you considered decoding trump? I mean, he’s the top dog conspiracy theorist cult leader. Maybe not in your wheelhouse and may be too far in the past (thank god)

Decoding The Gurus

I (Matt) have definitely thought about it. In some ways he’s the Uber-guru. Astronomically more successful than the rest, and ticks all the boxes. I think the only downside is everyone is already so familiar with him already!
