Hay John happy New Year so my question is what is the best thing and the worst thing about living in Japan?

Demitri Kambouris

Hey John, is there anyway you could message me the Discord details?

We're still getting settled in - mountain of stuff greeted me on arrival! lol but I am going to talk with Keith and after that, I'll be in touch with you. I'd like to have this running in Jan / Feb :) THANK YOU DEMITRI and will def need help.

BEST: Just walking around :) it always amazing to me to be in the middle of a place with thousands of years of history! The food, the culture ... and now Kanae WORST: I don't know if it's the worst but knowing the cultural procedures is challenging. There's a Japanese way to doing everything, many that don't make sense to my foreign brain BUT I do know I have to accept it because it's been around a lot longer than me. Also, the 14 hour flight to NY isn't so much fun :P haha

Thanks for answering my Q and How cool about the photo reuniting you with fellow past travellers. Happy Birthday Kanae and hope you both have a great day! 😊 PS. Cold water on the carpet for coffee stains.👍🏾

Thank you :) I KNOW!!!! I will contact them today and I bet they'll be shocked. It's like stoking the memories of 1996 suddenly. Life from the past swells up in the present and this is a GOOD ONE! Will def share with our channel. GOT IT!! I think this white carpet has seen some action in just 9 months! haha. Now I'll never forget today's stream when I look down -- it's actually not so bad. Kanae was ready with a towel fast!

Thanks for answering my question John

Jade Loader

Thank you for answering my question. Japan beating SA is still a sore topic for us here XD

Jaroslav (Japan Kofun)

Wasn't there for the stream but thanks for commenting on the visa stuff. Sorry if came across as too personal to ask about yours - didn't mean to offend you, just wondered how it is to deal with it after living there for so long, as the initial application process was quite involved - for me, my wife and her family. As you mentioned though, ultimately it's just a process that we simply have to follow, so we'll do so.
