I might miss this one 6am is hard on me. Plus have doctors appointments tomorrow that make it horrible for me. If i do here are my 3 quick questions. #1 when do we get to find out more on the new opening animated scene. (im sure you where already going to address this.) #2 Along those lines when are we going to meet the new team your working on? Last but most important to me personally! Now that you are out driving around cound me get a most beautiful restaurants in japan main channel or series of live streams. I know like the most beautiful places in japan Most restaurants that fall into this category are not accessible by just taking a bus or train! Example http://daigo-cafe.net/cafe/detail/momiji-en.html

Hi, I have just booked a trip to Okinawa this end of November (Okapi!!), when was your last trip over there and what's are the things you enjoyed most? After Okinawa, I will be at Tokyo for a few days and visit a few places around Kanto region, Hakone and Yokohama, hopefully can bump into your live stream :D. Last Question, How's the Patreon's trip planning so far? Okapi!!

How often do you encounter hon'ne and tatemae in daily life? Do you use these yourself? And Can you tell when someone is using hon'ne vs tatemae? I will be awake at 5 am for the Q & A, albeit a bit sleepy.

Hi John, Hitachi is the sister city to my city (Tauranga, New Zealand) so it was already on my list of places to visit for that reason. After seeing your live stream I'd really like to try some Hitachi A5 wagyu. Can you recommend any places to eat it in Hitachi?

What are a few uniquely Japanese (Only in Japan!) souvenirs for kids (8-19?). I need to pick up some things while I am there - arriving Thursday! I won't be able to make the live stream, but will check it out later in the day.

Hey fellow Tokyo citizen. My question as a still somewhat newbie resident - obviously this depends where u are and where u want to go, but, are there any train lines in Tokyo you prefer/avoid at peak times i.e. if various routes suggested via Google, GPS etc. tell you pretty much the same ETA, are some lines better to stick to than others ? Or is it just a given that we have to endure the sardine effect on whatever train we take during those times ?

I’m a proud Chuo line user😃 and occasionally use Sobu and Tosai line from Mitaka station. If you want to sit on Chuo line avoid it 6-11am and after 4pm during the week!!;)

Hello John! It’s a quite note that I really enjoyed you ‘ekimae’ livestream!!! I think many residents in Japan have their own favourite ‘ekimae shopping centre’. My favourites are of course Emio at Musashisakai, also Mitaka, Kichijoji! By the way would be able to do livestream around nice ‘Hina matsuri’ spots in Tokyo or Kyoto? Hina matsuri is coming soon!!! Thank you for your hard work❣️🙌 kiki
