As I started reading the title, I thought there was an earthquake again 😅

This is EXCELLENT! Appreciate you sharing the info. It's a sad reminder for us to be prepared.

This was a good thing to have a video for, I live somewhere that there is bad hail and bad winds along with some flooding season all the while not being much for earth quake which information like this is not normal to easily learn! Thanks John D!

Hey John What’s the technology like during a disaster as in TV, Radio., Cell Phone And make sure you keep a set of warm clothes and good boots near your evacuation pack as these times may happen at night. Cheers. Mark🇦🇺

Thank you for the info and personal insights of a tough memory. it's always good to be prepared. I have inherited my grans power outage survival kit of keeping a stock pile of candles, matches, camping gas, tinned and dried foods. I have added blankets and socks for if it occurs during winter time.

My Japanese friend was in Sapporo during the September 2018 earthquake. One thing we noticed once again is that often people outside the disaster areas have better access to relevant info than the affected people. Other Japanese friends and I were able to continuously scan all available info and provide her with the most relevant. Like where she could charge her smartphone nearby and so on. It saves a lot of energy to have someone do it for you and you can focus on the important things.
