Well, I had to keep it short, 8-9 minutes but here it is! Early access and I hope a fantastic start to new stories I know you are going to love. THANK YOU for the support for all these years, months, days. It was our community that got me through the toughest of times and most of you know where this comes from - a deep love for my second home. I'll make this public in the morning so certainly leave a message below on YouTube (not just here) and like and share all you want! I'm uploading a new Channel Trailer with some corrections as well.
I will make a formal announcement on GO tomorrow - and all my SNS. Let's get this channel launched!!

Why I Started ONLY in JAPAN | My Story

Welcome to the new John Daub * ONLY in JAPAN Channel which is a continuation of a series I created after the Great Tohoku Earthquake in 2011. It was from this disaster that effected the lives of so many people in Japan that I felt the need to a show full of positivity and stories about the country I've called home since 1998. It's not easy to start a new channel and I know it will be a real challenge but I feel it's the right thing to do. This particular channel was created in September 2011which traces back to my roots and desires to make this the no.1 show about Japan on YouTube. Thanks for joining this community! Leave me a comment to say hi, share a story or send me your ideas. My other channel in the ONLY in JAPAN series is ONLY in JAPAN * GO: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDsvL48jluG3tvlyurB4K3g #onlyinjapan #johndaub

John, do we keep “$ supporting” u here?

Fernando Orozco

I didn't know only in Japan was not only from Jhon, it's sad the content would not be there anymore but I will keep supporting him via patrean, I am sure the new channel will be even more famous.

Patricia Hyland

So excited! I’ve missed this type of content. I do love the live streams too so am glad to see your next expansion.

Arno Kempers

How did you end up not owning your own 1 million plus channel ? Is there a video on that, I’m curious.

Christine E West-Murphy

Looking fwd to new content! Just wanna say thanks for all your videos, they really helped my family and i plan for our Japan trip back in 2018. I've been a supporter since then!

Suzette Sakazaki

Congratulations!! Really look forward to the new channel. Keep up the great work, love watching all your videos and its wonderful content. You make us feel like we’re really there with you and look forward to the day we can visit Japan again.

I love John's videos, but I want to make sure I am supporting his new channel with my Patreon support. Do we need to change anything in Patreon to support him directly?

Heath

Do I need to resign up to patreon under new channel?

David A Hill

Glad to see the new channel live. Looking forward to all the new episodes.
