Just a couple of days left so I decided to visit a park nearby to finish my series on Cherry Blossoms in the city. #cherryblossoms #tokyo

Have really enjoyed these Sakura videos. It would be fun if you have the time and means to "chase the Cherry Blossoms" as they progress across Japan at various locations beyond Tokyo.

Hi Dale 😄 I did exactly that when I hitchhiked Japan in 2017 for the Bluray Kickstarter 📀 project. They were blooming in Late March in Kyushu and early May when I got to Hakodate too but they were quite late compared to this year.

Wow, after posting the above I came across your reference to heading out of Tokyo to catch the Sakura in Tohoku. May I suggest a return to Kanazawa. The Sakura that will line the moat that extends from the Castle Tower (located across the road from Kenrokuen) is stunning as the sun sets.

It is! I saw it in 2017 too :) and in the park. I can’t return this year but maybe in 2024, more Sakura travel!!
