Hey everyone!

After what felt like a very long month of very hard work, I'm pleased to announce that the new BIP is here, and it includes the entirety of both Chapter Five and Chapter Six! There's a fair bit of new stuff to peruse, so if you're the sort that likes to see all that as it happens, I hope there's plenty here for you to enjoy, alongside the recent new scenes from the end of Chapter Four.

As before, I've done two different versions; I'm still working on making the itch.io version better, but I haven't quite figured out how to make saves or accessibility features in it work yet, so I do apologize if that version is your only option due to DashingDon errors.

itch.io
itch password: v024islive

Hopefully that should all work okay (with the caveat about saves and features for the itch version). Please let me know if it doesn't, but if you can allow a little time, I'd appreciate it. I'm with family this weekend and trying to make myself take a day off! :)

Absolutely loving the update to the BIP! Dunno if this is the same error that was popping up on Dashingdon before but in chapter 5 right before the date with Hades, when I pick how I'm feeling about the upcoming outing I get this error "line 6382: Not a number: verylong". If that's the same as before apologies! And hope you're having a good week =D your hard work is very appreciated!

I think this should be fixed now, at least in the Dashingdon version, as I've just replaced the chapter, but if you're still getting it, let me know, because I've definitely replaced all the hair-length variables with their number versions now. :)

Looks like it's still happening ^^; Specifically when I try to hit next on the page ending with "It's a concern that carries you surprisingly quickly through the process of getting ready, at least."

Okay, that is... baffling. Does it crash the game, or do you just skip the hair stuff in that chapter and move right on to the clothing?

It's a crash, the whole pages goes unresponsive unfortunately. Haven't had a chance to play today but I'll see if it's still doing it within the hour and also maybe try starting over? Will update you!

Ack, I'm so sorry. The thing is, I know what the error was and I've definitely fixed it, so my only guess is that it might be a save file problem (where the variables were already set to their non-number versions or something). I really appreciate all this troubleshooting you're doing; as always, please let me know if a fresh save doesn't do the trick.

New save fixed it! And I got to see some more options you either added or that I got with slightly different choices so, very worth it! Gonna go play the rest of the updated content now, thanks again for making such a wonderful, cozy game <3

I've noticed that no matter how positive my PC is about how cool Erebus is, it's always shut off when I get to the dinner scene with everyone. I'm wondering if I'm missing an option somewhere to turn it on?

Ah, I see what the issue is. The variable was defaulting to 'off' but I also only ever turned it off if the PC didn't like it, rather than on if they didn't mind. I'll have this fixed by this month's BIP, but you can always manually change the setting from the stats menu (you can change some settings from there, and if you select the option to do that, one of the further choices should be to allow or disallow Erebus.) Thank you for pointing this out to me!
