That’s right, the illustrious Max Miller, director of Aunty Donna videos such as ‘World Footsies Championship’ and ‘Xmen’ is directing his first feature film! It also happens to be the first movie made by Haven’t You Done Well Productions.We’re looking for volunteer extras to appear in this piece of cinema and Aunty Donna history. We’re shooting in Melbourne across August and September 2026. If you could help out that would be incredible.

“Crime Casters”

[Comedy/ Action]  Claire is a frustrated young journalist whose scheme to produce a lightweight true-crime podcast in a small Australian town is derailed when she witnesses a policeman dumping a body. Thrown into a world of conspiracies and cover-ups, she must face a series of increasingly bizarre events involving murderous rural officials and doomsday bunkers - all while managing a perfectionist audio engineer.

Podcast Conference Goers:Young people attending a podcasting conference. Preferable on the younger side, though open to a broad age range. Artistic, creative young business types - inner-city people. Age range: 18-40, all genders and ethnicities. Cast to supply their own makeup and costume.Night Club Goers:Looking for people who would go to a high-end, dressy and commercial style nightclub. Age range: 35 and under. This is the interior scene, people will be dancing and having fun. All genders, ethnicities and styles (tattoos, hairstyles are welcome). Cast to supply their own makeup and costume.

Applications close August 5th 2026. Open to Victorian residents only. Extras cast will need to organise their own transport, costume and makeup. Shooting is taking place over the month of August and September, dates and scheduling are currently subject to changes still. Approaching production, more information will be provided for the successful casting applicants.
