Attention Smart and Beautiful Members of the Aunty Donna Club we’re so proud to share with you our latest comedy special DREM. Filmed on Thursday the 17th of December at the Palais Theatre in Melbourne this is a funny video you can laugh at it if you want. Thanks again to everyone who came and saw this live tour, we had the best time. We love this show and we think this special really captures what makes it a DREM so special.

The more observant among you will have noticed that DREM is uploaded directly to Patreon as opposed to Youtube. This is something we’re doing specifically for DREM. If you would like to watch this on your television we suggest downloading the patreon app on your phone and casting from there. Otherwise the Patreon app is available on Android TV. If you’re stuck there are some other helpful suggestions in this guide. We’d also appreciate it if you could not share DREM or clip it up for socials.

Edward Matthews

Finally I can watch it for the third time

Juno

Jesus do got that dog in him 🙌🙌

Chris Dormer

Where was this filmed. Loved seeing this

Alex Wishart

Saw it at the last London show. Very excited to relive this incredible show about Tennis.

KT Ash

Thank you for feeding the children ❤️

D'Arcy Connaughton

Yay! Drem was such a fun show. I’ll never forget Broden calling my parter a ‘fucking dumb cunt’ for pointing out the Dr Who clip then proceeding to knock her water bottle under the stage

TimTomTam

Yesss - can't wait to pause this every 10 seconds to mansplain the jokes to my girlfriend

Scruble

Omg omg I'm so excited 😊

CJ

It's Christmas in September

kaj

the 17th of december was a wednesday but

Joseph Penington

That's the show I was at so I've already seen it, but the rest of you are in for a treat.

Big T

69 likes boys, I'm proud of you

John Sturm

VERY disappointed that it's not the Bristol show when I came up on stage. SHAME ON YOU. PS - Thanks for this upload. I love you. Cunts.

Grug

WELLDONTYABLOODYKNOWITDREMISHEREBOYSSS!

Kyle Lambe

A drem come true 🥲 Looking forward to reliving one of the most fabulous night of live entertainment in my lifetime

Edward Matthews

Also I want you to know that you cunts are so fucked that, with that first bit before it snows, when I saw it the first time I did actually think this show might be some kind of fucked abstract esoteric Aunty Donna musical about tennis

Scruffyballs

I have been fever dreaming about tennis since the Dublin show and now finally I can put my mind at rest with DREM.

Jonas Amazonas

Now I can relive the best day of my life, thank you boys for creating something special

Kai Gardiner

Saw DREM in Manchester, England. I could not remember what happened but I've been told by the wife I was laughing the whole time. I vaguely emember something about tennis and Songs of Praise... Can't watch DREM all over again!

k v

AMAZING - love these boys

Ronnie

Thanks Boys, this was the first show I went to. Really happy that I can rewatch it.

hokeypokey

What a nice surprise!

Jinja McGarrity

What mystical forces were at work that made me put this shirt on today?! I’m in the DREM. Nooooo or yeessss? I’ll have to watch it again and figure out if this is a good or bad thing…

Ben Oxley

LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, saw this twice in person and now I can't wait to watch it again. Loved it boys, genuinely think it might be your best show yet

LilyMu🍣

Thank you with all my heart!!!! I didn't get to see the show live so this is the best early chrimbus present ever!!!

Tul

I was at the shows on the 12th and 14th, I'm so excited to experience this again. And to see how much more unhinged it got

auntydonna

have a nice drem in that cool tshirt

auntydonna

it's actually a three hour musical about tennis

HintShot

Good stuff boys, very excited to see the part from the London show where the projector screen stopped working

Kael D

So will it ever go on the the tubes for the scum? Or only us special DREM-Lords get DREM????

John Sturm

But Broden's sweaty hand on my shoulder felt so real. As did him telling me my name was Steven. Fuck. Twas all a drem.

Michael Palatsides

Can't wait to make a mess in my pants all over again

auntydonna

remember to keep it contained to ur cumpod

Jessica

YES FINALLY IM SO EXCITED!!!

jessie

YIPPEE!!!! 🤸🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️🤸🏼‍♀️

Michael Daniell

Can you at least feed a family of four for £5 now John?

Michael Daniell

I had wondered if the Doctor Who comments section mocking would be as glorious in Australia as the UK, still great.

Tay

Saw this in London, Broden was so close I could have reached out and licked him

dolly Angelic

Fuck yeah I'm so keen. Was literally just talking to a friend about hoping there would be a recorded show.

John Sturm

I handed that over to my wife after such a terrible showing. Mind you, apparently a dude in London went with Chicken Nuggets and Veg so I wasn't too far off the mark.

Michael Daniell

Amongst all the other highlights of that show, you going up on stage and blowing it on the first item forcing them to vamp for 3 minutes was hysterical.

John Sturm

If my utter shitness contributed to something good then I'll take that! I'll be paying close attention to that section of the video to learn from my mistakes. EDIT: At least I didn't go with fucking chocolate....

Jay Liz Short

Thank goodness! One too many white claws before your NY show caused me to completely misremember the tennis sketch. 🎾

Kieran Brennan

Your live shows are so fantastic, I'm so glad you're still passionate about them

Michael Daniell

All you have to remember is: - Dry pasta - Meat-free pasta sauce Although with inflation since then you might have to cut the sauce.

auntydonna

did u think u watched a full three hour musical about tennis?

Justin B

So happy to see Mervin again

Stephen

Is it possible for you to share the YT version? The patreon embedded video player isn't very good :/

E H

And on my birthday too! I must be dremming!!

Liz Mills

Yay!! Thank you boys!!

Samuel Saunders

I love Mervin. Like if agree. Every like = 1 marvellous creations choccy for Mervin.

Samuel Saunders

can we get a “making of” documentary about this specific recording of DREM where Mervin is interviewed about how he rehearsed and wrote the show with the boys.

Cam Nic

While it's fantastic that this has finally been released, and of course I'm excited to see the show again, we all need to remember that Chris Kenny does in fact have a rat up his ass.

Marshall Halleck

Hope you guys got a decent amount for shilling the patreon app, not something we should get because its better or somethin, just because the creators were paid to only host it there and not upload an unlisted copy to youtube. Classic anti consumer bullshit, holding our subscribed content hostage in order to cram an app we dont want down our gullet.

Daniel Casserley

Awesome! Very much enjoyed that one boys! ☺️

j kohler

Mervin is the Goat

SpicySauce7

I have been waiting for this my entire life

j kohler

I would be happy with a full hour show just of Broden whipping a box of chocolates

John Sturm

It seems so obvious when you're not sat in front of 1000 people. Fuck.

Jake N

mate its probably due to drm, you can't control people sharing the video if it's just a youtube link. they probably want to keep this video to just patreon members. i highly doubt patreon has paid them to use the patreon video system.

Eli!

My flatmate has not shut up about going to see this in Belfast. Literally it’s his whole personality. Time to see if this holds up to his yapping

Mark Dolling

Was wonderful to be at the test show then the filming. Brilliant guys xoxox

TeeJay Wesley

Sweet! You'll be happy to know since the November show I've become too thicc for my merch 😎

Ken Pryczynski

Idk man our dude in New York Angel said rice crispy treats 😄

Unkle Butt

Got to see this live in Brooklyn and you boys were top notch. Not quite the level of the jeopardy podcasts as of late but close

Macharya

genuinely dont think ive ever laughed harder in my life than at the bit watching the doctor who video on youtube. best live show yet boys, glad i can watch it on the toilet now!

Martin Pedersen

Travelled from Oslo to London just to see this live and I swear I haven't laughed at anything as much as when Broden said "would he have that dog in him" during the Jesus in the NBA sketch

Chris Dormer

Saw in Brisbane - this is still great.

Lucas Gray

When I saw this in Bawztin the bathroom attendant was an old Italian lady and I genuinely thought it was part of the bit

Narym

Ah, Chris Kenny, how I missed thee. Still myopic enough to think that there was no one back in the 60s and 70s writing off Aunty Jack as derivate anarchic cross dressing drival from antiestablishment youths. How unoriginal. But that's alright, he has made a career out of something as unimaginative as 'old man yells at cloud', so all power to him.

Wodonga Bob

Ah I was there that night, fucking great show

Rita Lynn

Hello from Toronto 👍👍

Sephie

A dude in New York City went with rice krispies treats. I was there. After the shopping sketch Broden paused the show to acknowledge it--because at their first show in America, someone tried to feed their family of four with rice krispies treats 💀

Chriswp50

Thank you so much boys, wish I could have seen it live.

Jaidyn

Erection time

Michelle Vucko

Where is Mervin now? I hope he got his chocky dinner

Paddy M-K

Took my brother so see this, he turns to me during the intro and asks if it's going to be a 2h musical about tennis

brahbrah

Much love from Toronto what an incredible show!!

Adam Brimhall

Plays. Little plays. Little comedy . . .

six triceratops

saw it live, sad that one of the people I took is sadly no longer with us, but it will be lovely to revisit and think of her. one of the last things she did was redeem her 1 year sub to this Patreon I gifted her for her birthday, so in a better world she's watching it here too

Fredrik Granath

Watching DREM as I can only assume the creators intended - in bed.

Adam Michaelis

Close your eyes, shut your mouth, or my fist will put you out… Drem, Drem, Drem, Drem, Drem, Drem.

KiraGrace

while we’re all sharing memories i still think about drem london where a couple got engaged during the q&a and i wasn’t sure if it was real or some abstract bit

Sophie

Am I dreming? Thank you all xx

C E

GRAND DESIGNS BATMAN?

Daryl Finlan

Hell yeah! It feels like it’s been forever since the live show in London, been itching for this!

Mind Doodles

This is incredible. Tennis is well good

Harrison Tiller

I cant wait to show this to the girl im dating, 30 mins after we've just had coitus!

Chuk Appleseed

that cafe sketch hit way different in new york city

Ryan

I wear the pud beanie every morning that I got from the DREM merch, I was also wearing it when I saw this notification. Hope this helps

Ian Fay - Boss Rush Studio

Got COVID for the first time after avoiding it for 5 years at the DREM show in Dublin 10/10 thanks guys

Squirt GoodShite

Not today, Death. There's new Donna to watch.

NicklePickle582

I forgot how absolutely great this show was. Thanks for the upload

Rob Frost

Love DREM so much, would really love a deep dive on the creation/writing of this show!

Paul

Am I dreming?

auntydonna

U must be mistaken. That’s Broden

BFF Punch!

I went to Manchester. I forgot my glasses and drank too much beer, plus I was miles back. You were all teeny blurry specs on stage at the parts where I hadn’t dropped off like some utter lightweight. I’ve been waiting for this for ages! FINALLY get to see it 😂

auntydonna

watching drem just like christopher nolan intended

auntydonna

this one is exclusive to our Esteemed Aunty Donna Club members

Butterwinter

Holy fucking shit this is good. For me, absolutely the best fucking show you guys ever made. It's so fucking tight, my god.

Jake Hinton

Such a banger, Mervin was a legend 😂😂 In Perth we had Toast and she was the best, the choir bit had me dying omg

Jake Hinton

HE WAS THE TALK OF THE TOWN, FOR 48 HOURS 🗣🗣🗣🛩

Mary Racter

Thank you for posting this!

orthagonal

This was FANTASTIC. Thank you, guys and everyone who worked on this!

Danimo

Thank you for this incredibly informative documentary about tennis, the racket sport.

Mack Bagan

Oh my goodness this was so good.

James Jeffery

Hey Crispy what are you doing he- *show has a full five minute bit about a Doctor Who scene* ...I see

James Jeffery

What a glorious day. Life is but a Drem. I didn't think anything would top the guy at Manchester going straight for a whole chicken and ending the bit, but Mervin going for three 5 dollar bars of chocolate was incredible. Shoutout Mervin. Also finding out the Songs of Praise bit was always set in Manchester and not just localised for us makes me smile. I would love to hear all Zach's regional accents for the cafe lady, now having heard this and the northern English variant

Robert Campbell

lol, fuckin loved it. Wish I could have been there in person! thanks boys

Barry Fontenot

When you get into the paint with Jesus, you FEEL it

Tommy D'Longersong

Thank you so much for this. We had the most amazing time in Bristol!

Tommy D'Longersong

John you were an absolute legend. We were howling with laughter at how long you were left just sitting on stage 😂

John Sturm

Awww! Thank you! Judging by the video above it was something they “gifted” to every volunteer. The utter shits.

Pat Smith

Saw this show two nights in a row and it was so worth it. Thank you boys for putting this online

Cato

Saw the show twice in London, still so funny on the re watch! Any dosage of you boys improves my day! Please upload all pod videos to Patreon (or Spotify) instead of YouTube - it makes watching the regular pods so much easier

Isabelle

Most of the show is a blur in my memory but I remember Zach's waitress character being quite different by the time they reached the UK

Brad F

Gotta get Mervin on the pod.

Jay Liz Short

I wasn’t too far off from what I thought I misremembered. I couldn’t understand how 9/11 and tennis could be interwoven into one joke, so I assumed I must have been off my rocker. I wasn’t. Now I understand.

Charleigh Bunney

My partner and I watched in Bristol, UK and have been waiting to watch it again 🖤 thank you

Jaeger

keep em coming

Austin Hackett

I got to take my dad to this in Chicago for his birthday. We go to concerts and shows all the time, we've seen our favorite bands and comedians, and we always say that this was the most fun we've ever had at a show. I don't think I stopped laughing for more than a second.

AValken

Hmm yes I think I'll watch it again 😌

Dylan Walker

Tried every which way to see you boys in the states, but sadly no dice at the time. Happy to be watching now! And loving every second! Hope to catch you next time around :) <3

Matthew Hughes

Haven’t you boys done well for yourselves, top shit lads 😂🫡

Trackmaster4

I’ll never forget going to see this show in London and accidentally knocking someone’s drink over while shuffling through the aisles to my seat. I profusely apologised and offered to buy him another. He said “no it’s fine” but I could tell he really wasn’t fine about it, so I went the long way round to get out of the aisle when I left just to avoid him Also legit best fucking comedy show I’ve ever seen and the merch was top notch, 10/10, thanks for coming halfway across the world and still charging reasonable ticket prices, bloody love you legends!

XmillerX

IM SEATED AND SO EXCITED. LET'S.GET.COOOOOKED 🤙🏻😂🎵 • All memeing, joking and fun bullshitery aside for this one time- THAT WAS AMAZING. i havnt had a grin on my face for so long in yearssss. ✨🌹💐👏 Genuinely (though I still can't quantify exactly what this is) YOU BOYS ARE THE BEST AT IT. holy hell you madmen 😂😅 absolute masterpiece. Thank you. For all the years of laughter. And for making me laugh so loud I become a noise complaint in my complex 👏 SO MUCH LOVE FOR U CUNTS 👏

Mike Senatore

Saw this with my dad in NYC. He didn't get it and every once in a while he'll ask me "you remember that comedy show we went to? What was that?" Thanks guys!

Frasier Bunn

For the songs of praise sketch I assumed they changed it for all the shows. Turns out they said Manchester for everyone not just the Manchester show 😳

Michael Peet

Was the best birthday I had watching this in person. An honour to be part of the filmed audience

Nicholas Lawton

Zach complimented my lady’s jacket during pre-show and now she’s left me for another man who’s hairier and more professionally funny than I. What a shame. Thanks again boys

Niels G. W. Serup

It was nice to get a primer on Nebula's place in the MCU, but I was sad to see that there was no Star Trek: Deep Space Nine explainer.

Mike Gebbink

Woke up at 5 a.m. had to pee. Gave up on trying to sleep after 10 mins. Saw this was uploaded, gave it a watch. Now im still not sure if i went back to sleep and had a drem, or actually saw drem.

Dave Drogowski

Had a question at the show in Chicago and I suppose it's better asked late than never: Out here on the ground, there are reports that during the taping of this tour, Aunty Donna podcast listeners deeply suspected that the trio may have been "bankin em." Can you confirm or deny?

Jinja McGarrity

I feel like some of you have also liked this pic on TikTok. Hello 👋

wormy boi

The Westfield Shopping centre will be in Croydon (its been in development hell for years)

Thomas Ridley

Hey boys! Great special. I have a question… So I was at the first test show at the Athenaeum back when DREM kicked off. I sat up the front and to the left. Before the show started my girlfriend and I jokingly did the fingers together to make a vagina gag. Later we cackled when that happened on stage. So my question is was that a major coincidence or did someone see us from the wigs and do it on stage? Love you lots

Nathan Primeau

Was so sad that I couldn’t make the Toronto show. Happy to finally see this!

summers458

I didn't get to catch it live so i'm happy to finally see a version of it. This is one of my favourite things AD have done. Those transitions between sketches were smooth AF.

Jep

I watched the first ten minutes so many times in a row because I wasn't ready to stop laughing at them. If you asked me what minute 11 would bring, I would never in a million years have come up with, "the riff drop into Money for Nothing."

Dean Chambers

It’s nice to know this show slots neatly into the cold cut era

Domz

Not to rush you or anything, but what's the status on those captions? I'm Norwegian, and I speak English fluently, but it is my third language, which I guess makes Australian my fourth, and while I understood just about every word in the show, having captions would be very helpful when I'm googling whatever Australian cultural/political references I need to understand the joke while in bed, watching on my phone, dead tired but not able to sleep, volume low as if not to disturb anyone even though I live alone thanks guys love the show

Bonester

not even half way through and i already see the origins of angelina and grand designs batman

Narym

I don't know how Broden thought stomping along like an arthritic velociraptor was what was needed for a sketch about Songs of Praise, but I'm glad his own private psychosis on this occasion threw that up because it's both completely apt and fucking mental all at the same time.

Tristan Barron

I need y'all to know, I brought two of my closest friends to the live show in New York. I did not explain any single bit of what they were gonna see. I don't think I've regretted anything more in my life.

Jaeger

signed up for the Coup content and was blessed with Drem. What a Beautiful day.

stickles

mervin on the aunty donna pod when ??

blueshift

I've had Mark's stupid Humpty Dumpty joke in my head ever since this was posted

Morg-a-loop

Was it all just… a drem?

BigChrisDid

Langdon Donovan has not reappeared yet. WE ARE ALL STILL IN THE D.R.E.M. !!!

Domz

thanks so much bb

Jep

Aaah thanks for putting the subtitles up!! Though it's tragic that they don't translate the second line of Mark's scream (WHY YOU LIE TO ME / AND MY FRIEND BRODEN KELLY) and instead chicken out to (both grunting and screaming) edit after watching: this is the funniest structured thing you've ever made, it's a masterpiece

chord gang

CHICKEN TONIGHT JOHN

Jared Neesom

Folks am I inept at using the Patreon app, or am I still only getting the same auto-generated captions that were up from Day 1? Love the show all the same frends

Kelly Jordan

I've only got auto-generated as an option too

ENBYSS

if drems were this entertaining id go to sleep everyday

Stefan Gröchenig

I'm really sorry: In my opinion, the sound quality is horrendous. That's a really far step down from previous shows. I love you guys, but I feel my money was wasted.

Ross

Hey, this was great.

Greg Cutler

I have no idea how this show worked in other countries. I love it, really, but I'm very confused about the logistics.

Josh F

Being able to watch the show again but this time all snuggled up on the couch is a reel drem cum tru

Joni Kestinmäki

I've never bought anything on Patreon before, but it was worth it for Songs of Praise... and Mervin.

Maddy Hughes

Absolutely love this whole thing!! But all I can think about is how sexi Zach looks playing air guitar.... Keep up the good work boys!

Dano Rau

you boys have gotten really good at singing!

xxSw4gl0rdxx

DREM was one of the best nights of my life honestly, laughed so hard my dick fell off. It grew back though. That being said, please never upload direct to patreon again, I can't manually set the quality and it's stuck at like 320p

xxSw4gl0rdxx

please tour again please pls

xxSw4gl0rdxx

i think in brum if im not misremembering he went for jacket potatoes and actually kept it close to 5 quid
