Page 13 of Emotion Sickness is now complete. Raven wakes up in the infirmary after her ordeal at the pool and is immediately greeted by an overly enthusiastic Beast Boy.

I think the background colors for the scene are as I want them, but we'll see how it works out in the upcoming pages. If I feel anything isn't working out I'll maybe adjust them. Also, I'm uploading slightly earlier today due to needing to head out soon, but sooner's better than later I suppose.

LINES:


Here are the lines for page 13 of Emotion Sickness. Raven awakens in the infirmary after her previous incident and is greeted by an overly enthusiastic Beast Boy.

So I did end up deciding to get back to this comic for now now that a scene has technically been finished for Bawdy Falls. I just wanted to have some fun with Dipper and Mabel with that with a theme that can further be addressed in a later scene, so next time I get back to that there should be a bit more progression towards other things.

As for Emotion Sickness, this part should be about as long as the previous one, and is obviously going to include Beast Boy and Raven. Once this scene is done I'll get back to Bawdy Falls, and then back to another scene of this, etc.

Dog licking you on the face...cute. Human licking you on the face...weird. Human turned into a dog licking you on the face...........weirdly cute? lol. *sigh* My favorite shipp in TT.

I'd say it depends on who the human turned into a dog is. For some humans it would be a lot less cute, even if turned into a dog. For Beast Boy though it seems acceptable, especially when the target is Raven, so he gets a pass (although clearly not from Raven herself).

Beast Boy and Raven really is the best odd couple. Only someone that honest could break through her facade. And not get fried for trying. That he's a shape shifter doesn't hurt ofc.

Maybe, but not a likely use of time for me at this point. I did want to start the page by showing that, but it would have made the page a bit cluttered. After the fact though I sort of wish I had swapped the order of the top three panels, with Raven sleeping and dog Beast Boy curled up, and then just drawn her flat down in the fourth panel, but that would have come at the expense of seeing excited Beast Boy ready to pounce before he pounced.

Agreed. I've always liked the pairing, even before knowing it was canon in any other material. His innocent playfulness is great for a stoic character like Raven. That makes both him and Raven, or Starfire and Raven, quite enjoyable to watch, and leads to Raven bearing things that she'd not otherwise deal with so lightly.
