Hello there! I hope everyone started the new study or work year in earnest!
I was more focused on longer animations and mastering fluid systems this month and I'm still making progress on that, but I'm worried about something:
With these big animations comes more rendering time, just like for.the fluid simulations (1 day for the fluids and another for final exporting from the software).
I'm scared whether that will degrade my hardware, especially when I look at the price of components and the amount of crashes I'm getting... Though said crashes turned out to be a problem with the Blender session (I hope I found the culprit).
Even I know my CPU isn't the best, I have an i9-14900KF, known to have some rather significant problems. Unfortunately changing it means changing the motherboard and the RAM, so basically the price of my entire PC or more.
Anyway I hope my next PC will stay alive, at least until the new year without my CPU turning into ash. Something that happened to a friend of mine who had that model.
Also, I'm planning to lock patreon payments for the last time this November as I've been planning to take a small holiday after I finish to make the Halloween art pack!
Thank you again support , idk why this last month you started to be more and more , i appreciate but i've to lock the payout because of your huge number xD (Good for you)
