Zero Suit Samus, New Laws & Join Me LIVE! (Patreon)

Thanks to the fun creativity of Modern Myth and an amazing Patron who sent this suit, we did a Zero Suit Samus cosplay shoot last week, which was a lot of fun! I'd been holding on to this shoot (and many other clothing items I hadn't gotten a chance to shoot with yet..and DID on this day)...and I found these SWEEEEEEEEET boots at a thrift shop that just happened to be the right shade of blue AND a size 10...meant to be!

We did some photos with a weapon, but these sites are cracking down on EVERYTHING lately, and posing with ANYTHING that seems like a weapon is no longer allowed on some. Ditto for blood. I've had my vampire and Viking photos removed from platforms. Now I'm concerned about my wrestling and comic con stuff, because the new rules demand a model release and ID for everyone in the photos...even at public events, which makes NO sense to me. If we're at a public event, you know we know we're going to be filmed and photographed. We give up our right to privacy. And behind the scenes at those events is something I've always done, people enjoy that.

Because comic con cleavage...RIGHT???

It's very frustrating. If anyone knows a workaround, please let me know. I feel like there's a lawsuit here somewhere regarding free speech.That cute meme that went viral of me and the little kid grabbing my boob at a comic con while I was in Red Sonja gear that said "Courage...reach out and grab it" from 2011? I posted it a couple months ago here, but it was pulled.

It's suddenly dangerous to all despite being in circulation for 13 years, the kid doing the grabbing and his father standing behind him. I can no longer post it. I've also had my public wrestling matches taken down for lack of model releases. It's all total bullshit. Just another way to crack down on creators, limit them, and hurt small businesses/artists under the guise of either "protecting the children" or "terrorism". Business as usual to control (and now the internet and free speech) with laws. It's not the sites...it's the BANKS calling the shots. They've doubled the fees for anything considered adult this year, too. Visa and MC both doubled fees to accept them on sites.

Money, when used as something other than an exchange of energy...when used to damage/control others in some way, really can be the root of evil.
