He's going to be the MC, but I want him to be on screen since I hate the first person and he's not the kind of default VN protagonist.Which is the first reason why I tend to not like Visual Novels. The writers try to replicate the immersion that silent protagonists of action and roleplay games can give, by making the protagonist not mute, but the blandest kind of guy.Boring, passive-aggressive, self-deprecating, oblivious and sleazy at the same time. That's not a transparent kind of character, it's just the assumption from the writer that we are all Shinji Ikari on a bad day.(Or a harem or Isekai protagonist .
