I mentioned it before, but I have been struggling with Gacha God a bit lately. I've had a pretty bad case of writer's block that I've been working through. I've been chipping away at it and recently I looked back over what I've gotten out and I'm not at all happy with it. It's the most unhappy I've been with some of my work in a very long time, which prompted this announcement.

Temporarily, Ghastly Adventures will be taking over the Saturday slot. Temporarily. I'm hoping that by removing the pressure of 'Oh god, I have to get this chapter out' I can get the creative juices flowing again. I'll call it a month at most. Then, hopefully, I'll be back on track with Gacha God.

Sorry to those that this will disappoint, but after I missed a Saturday update for a second time, something had to change. With a little luck, this will be the change that I need and if Ghastly Adventures does particularly well, I'll look for a way to include it in my rotation. Because I know I have a number of projects gathering dust that I know people would like to see fleshed out, and I've been kicking around a few ideas to give them some time in the sun beyond a snippet in the Idea Pile.

Thank you for your understanding.

As long as it’s not dead then I’m happy waiting

Are you rewriting GG as well as putting on hiatus?

Aaron Ball

Might be a good idea to do a biweekly switch when you get back into the swing of things if this takes off. I know for a fact that most of the ideas pile stories are stuff that most here would enjoy.

I think you handled this very well. You are really good at making your patreon worth it.

Ghastly the adventure Pokemon fanfiction feel like it's base premise is something I see pop up about once or twice a week of on FF or some other websites like space battles. The base premise just feels so stale for me. But I'll probably still end up reading it I just kind of wish it had something more to the core idea like an outside context ability. Like the gamer which you don't see much in Pokemon fanfiction or the main character had Minecraft powers. Or Just something more to spice it up. Like perhaps if he had woken up with all the crafting recipes and a crafting set from Pokemon Legends Arceus and then proceeded to live off the land like some Chad and what if some of the recipes the main character had were lost during the Pokemon war and that's why you can't buy Max revives and other things at Pokemarts. Personally I find this a far more interesting idea as almost never see anyone wright a pokémon fanfic were the mc has some type of out of contextability. As of right now I can only think of maybe two active Pokemon gamer fanfics. Whereas in comparison to the on you're writing here I could probably come up with about 30 of them.

Take all the time you need man. I joined the patreon for the quality, not the quantity.

So what's the status for Gone Native? It's been a year with no updates.

Any word on when Gacha may be coming back? Sorry to bug you about it, but it's my favorite of your stories.
