Unfortunately I have realized that one of the beta testers decided to share a beta version with many bugs on various forums before the final version was available for USD 20 Patreon's. I know I cannot avoid it on long terms but realized that I had a drastically reduction of Patreon's right after. In order to avoid this I have reduced my beta testers and make all versions specific for USD 100 Patreon's (Sorry).

Besides that I want to take another step to avoid it and hereby ask you about your opinion:

Will it be acceptable  if I remove the hints from the game and post about it here instead.

I know it will not protect the game but will make it a little bit more difficult for others to get all information's

To be honest, this is happening with your game for a while now. The only reason I got here and became a patreon is because of a leaked beta. But as you stated correctly, this is something you cannot control. Hints can be shared as well once they are published. I think you should accept this and use this as promotion - one reason why I think your patreons decrease is the price. You may earn more money with lower prices and increasing patreons here. I think it was my first email to you, where I already stated, I will be supporting for 2 months maximum as I do not like to spend more than 40-50 € on a game. This will be the case for a lot of patreons imho.

Hello Mr Ketchup. I do not disagree with you and I fully understand your points. For me - it has highest priority that I can give my best support to my Patreons. If I lower the price it will properly gives more Patreons but my support level will be significant less. The reason why I am pissed about the shared game is only because I have had excellent testers that have made an outstanding job. Unfortunately one of them decided to share a non finished work that will give my game a very bad reputation. As I wrote before I can’t avoid it and it is also a paradox that you need to have your game shared in various forums in order to gain knowledge about your game - the same forums that share your game for free. My priority is to support you all with daily uploads, polls hints, tips and tricks in order to justify your donations.

I would say be careful as well. I found your game through one of these sites and looked you up on patreon. The people who can / will pay for your game will. The one's that will not, won't... Try to find the people who pay through more exposure for your game.

I be here for years and what happen here isn't the price you release a new version, if a beta-tester cross your back that´s fucking mad. IMHO many great Dev here send the OP to " pirates side " for a new version, if the price went down to 5 $. Most Member here don´t care this action. The Dev cares only there isn't a wrong version out there. Couple of Dev , making a membership here if the game is good as yours. I hope you don´t mind to send one post here from one Dev. The dev is working with too many conditional variables. What was true back when I started programming in the 80's is still true today; If "ifs" and "and´s" were pots and pans. He needs to break them up. He needs to clear up his conditional "ifs" in his code. It´s like a Spaghetti, which is why so many wrong responses.

Thanks for your input. The problem is not spaghetti code, but the fact that my ambitions have been higher than my test skills. I know that many clean up the codes, but that will require that you all start from scratch again. One thing I want to avoid. In this version there are more than 2.100 images - and she change cloth very often and I want the story as linear as possible. Many games often have situations where you in one room meet the girl ready to be fucked and in next room she is too shy to do anything. That doesn't make sense. Please also notice that this is a game not a novel. Many players are stuck because they simply not read the communications, but just click until next option appears. Concerning pirates. I can't avoid and I don't want to avoid that somebody at a certain time share the game. As I have wrote before - it is a paradox that you as creator on one side use the forums to make your game well known and at the other side - the same forums share your game for free. What really pissed me off - when one of my beta testers shared a non finished version. That gives my game a very bad reputation and that is even worse than somebody share the final version. Back to the variables issues - In 3_5 that will be send to beta testers on Saturday - I have changed it - so the path through will be less complex and that will for sure avoid many bugs. Thank you for your interest and donation - I really appreciate it.
