Rick killing Shane to this day is still my favorite moment in the series. The best of the show is still to come but the symbolism and character development for Rick here is just perfect.

Not sure if anyone in the comments has told you but the reason why dale being killed off seemed so abrupt is when they fired the original show runner, Frank Darabont, the actor who played Dale decided to quit the show. He was originally supposed to be around til season 5+ but they had to write him out. Frank Darabont was also the reason why the walkers early on seem to have some amount of intelligence, but now that he's gone they've moved away from that and all walkers are now just plain brain dead

MAN one of the reasons I love doing reaction videos is the community and how many "fun facts" I learn! Glad to know Dale's death was indeed a bit abrupt and now I know why xD

As of now, this is my fav episode of the series so far! The whole scene with Rick killing the human version of Shane and then his son killing the walker version of Shane was brilliant!
