Hi Guys,

So Vimeo has disabled my account due to copyrighted content and I need your help now! Could you let me know what exactly is the procedure to reverse this??

I am a bit shocked actually and since I am fairly new I am not sure what to do!

For future Patreon videos which platform exactly will be the best for me to upload for Patreon?

Seriously any help is appreciated it!

Thank you!

Aishwarya

I’m so sorry that you’re already struggling with your video uploads and the platforms you’re using. I know that many of the other reactors here on Patreon use the platforms... Dropbox, Google Drive, and One Hub. Hopefully these suggestions will help you. I’m sorry I can’t be any more helpful. I know nothing about video uploads and such. Good luck, my friend! Sincerely, Heidi

Most patreon creators I know usually use google drive or Dropbox at first until they're comfortable editing and cutting videos down to segments (as even full length reactions can get copyrighted on vimeo). Might be worth looking at a different platform like streamable or maybe google drive for now tbh - a lot of creators have had problems with vimeo.

I'm afraid I know very little on the subject. What I've seen is that some use dailymotion, and that it's quite common to scramble the video, for a few seconds here and there, with some filter, to try and trick the automatic scanning.

In terms of getting your account back, I don't think you're gonna have much luck on that front, I'm afraid. Copyright terminations are a pain in the read to appeal. In terms of where else you could put them, BitChute is one I know a lot of people use, as well as Google Drive, which someone mentioned in an earlier comment. Depending on how comfortable you are with editing, you could have a timer on your video of where you are in the episode, and play the first minute or so on screen to let people sync up their own player with it. I know a lot of people don't really like doing that, but it would Functionally guarantee no further copyright issues
