Great reaction! Amenadiel telling Chloe that her dad is proud of her means that he saw her dad in heaven - which means that Chloe now realises that her dad is looking down on her! That scene is so sweet and means so much to Chloe! Chloe throwing herself onto Lucifer is such a good scene - and also a reminder of when Lucifer threw himself infront of the axe in episode 2! They are willing to die to protect each other! Those two scenes are really powerful in terms of their understanding each other's feelings :)

This has always been one of my favourite episodes of all the seasons as it opens up so many questions that as we trust in the script writers, we know will eventually be answered somehow. but for now, the intrigue and anticipation on where the story lines are going at the moment of this episode is just delicious, I couldn't wait for more- first time round and binged watched the whole of the next episodes. This episode was a classic Lucifer mix of laugh out loud moments, cheeky suggestive moments, high drama, hold your breath moments and lovely Deckerstar moments...it had everything. I agree with Saga, the connection of Luci throwing himself in front of the axe to save Chloe in episode 2 and Chloe now without hesitation throwing her body across Luci to save him from the bomb blast she thought was coming was just a perfect example of unconditional love that these two have for each other even if they both think there are too many obstacles in the way of it ever being realised fully...wonderful story. I liked your insights into the idea of Luci maybe taking up the mantle of being a devil again because Amenadiel thinks that is what Eve wants (the Devil she knows) and what that might mean to Chloe as it isn't the Devil she knows- and how this is all going to play out. Look forward to watching episode 6 with you and thank you for uploading so quickly. One of the first things I do in a morning when checking emails etc is to check if there is a notification from you and if there is, I am so excited! The only downside is that the rate we are getting through this season means it will soon be done and the journey together until you watch season five will be over. I don't want it to end!
