Lucifer 4x10 ~ ''Who's da New King of Hell'' ~ Finale ~ Extended Reaction.mp4

I have to admit, even so it is not the happy ending everyone wants to have, I think that would have made a great ending, if Lucifer wouldn't have extended. Whenever someone told Lucifer "God has a plan", he answered, "why does everyone think it is a good one". If it would have been God's plan to have Lucifer rule Hell, than what's better to convince Lucifer to do it voluntarily?

Saga

Season 4 done! I'm so glad Netflix picked it up and gave the fans such an amazing season! This episode is an emotional one (again), with so much happening! The whole Maze and Eve thing broke my heart because you can see how hurt Maze is by the fact that Eve left. I just want Maze to be happy :(. I, like you, love how Ella expresses her feelings on faith and it really shows how important that is to her. I really like that the writers focused on her faith this season and how losing that made her feel and act, but eventually she finds her way back to it. But, of course, the biggest thing in this finale is Chloe and Lucifer. Chloe finally admitted her feelings to herself and told Lucifer that she loves him! We finally got the "I love you" after 4 seasons, and what a way to say it! Unfortunately Chloe's fears of Lucifer leaving her comes true, when he tells her that he has to go back. This is a really selfless decision on Lucifer's part, which speaks to his character growth during the seasons. He goes back to protect the people he cares for and loves, when it's obvious he doesn't want to. I love that Chloe is begging him not to go - since everyone has always told him he needs to go back to Hell. I love Lucifer's reaction to hearing her say that, he's so happy and it adds to the joy and heartbreak of this scene. Lucifer then tells her that she was his first love, and even though he doesn't say the three little words, we all know he loves her. He also got his angel wings back, and Chloe finally got to see them! I think I cried for hours after watching that scene. In pure Deckerstar fashion - we are happy for a few seconds, only to be crying our eyes out the next - but we wouldn't have it any other way! Can't wait for your reactions to season 5! Stay safe :)

I loved all your reactions and comments on this episode. It was very emotional. I agree with you about Eve. I think it was clever to bring her into the story...throw in a possibility that she was the first love. I liked how her relationship with Luci, despite his rejection by Chloe, helped him realise that even so he wanted to be the 'man' Chloe admired and not the one Eve wanted. I also like her being used to show us that Chloe, loving Luci (we all know she did and has for a while) but being unable to accept all that he was, was happy at first to see him happy with Eve...or so she thought and then the realisation that despite everything she did love and accept all of him! She was also a perfect character for us to see Maze grow and make a special connection and although they split at the end of this season...we all hope Maze will find her again somehow as eve said- there is a connection. Finally the Chloe and Lucifer goodbye and that beautiful song was so emotional and heartbreaking and that kiss was so full of love, need and sadness at parting it hurt. They have come so far (Four long seasons) to finally realise and declare themselves to each other for it to end like this. Thank goodness the story doesn't end but Netflix (overwhelmed by the response and viewing figures) commissioned season 5 and then (sighs) season 6. I look forward to that journey with you. Thank you Aishwarya. x
