A wonderful reaction, thanks a lot. I love that moment with Rose, so emotional!

I feel the need to explain the whole vampire hearing thing. It isn't just 'on' all the time. I mean that would drive someone mad to hear everything all the time. It only works when they are listening. Like with Caroline in 2x5 she used her vamp hearing to like reach out in different directions when she was searching for Damon and Stefan.

We all cried for Damon. Damon told her (Jessica) she was his crisis...because he wants to be human...but he is not...he is a vampire who kills and likes it, which is what he doesn't want to be.

Oh...and pause or rewind when you need to....I don't think anyone minds.

Now you understand why Damon has a huge fan base, his character is deeper and more complex than many of the others. I think more people can relate to him better as well, as an imperfect character.

He has a fanbase because he is hot. He is all about Elena this whole show and that's a stupid arc compared to a guy who has no real hold of his emotions and struggles to become good all his life. Proper Damon fanboy lol
