Damon reacted in a very human way not by attacking Matt I don’t support that but come on if a person u love is drowning is going to die wouldn’t we save that person? It’s a given. Yes Stefan respected her choice for that I adore him but at that time they didn’t know she had vampire blood in her system she would be just DEAD. What if Meredith wouldn’t have given Elena vampire blood? It’s not even anything related to Matt here Damon is probably thinking how could his brother not see this? Stefan listened to Elena but what was the consequence of that choice gonna be?? Elena dying. Stefan got lucky she had Damon’s blood in her system. And As we heard Damon wants her to have kids to see her live the life she wanted but that’s all gone now he even goes to kill Rebekah and why not it’s cz of her she’s dead so Damon’s obviously very pissed and rightfully so. His talk at the end there to elena felt very real and because he is so imperfectly human it just amazes me everytime.

I will say that Stefan and Elena scene was so cute though they Couldn’t see each other’s when Stefan says I’m smiling it’s the most sweetest thing to hear. I loved how they showed her getting her memories of Damon’s compulsion back it was done really well. Season 4 is too good very excited to watch it with you next episode is super!!

I completely understand what you are saying makes tot sense. Just felt what Damon said to Matt that it should have been you kind of hit hard. It was very unfair in that aspect. Other than that I understand why he was upset.

Yess it was so sweet and you can see Rebekah envying that love they both have which I felt so sad for her😩 Yes the compulsion scene yo that was a shock! I’m super excited to watch S4 too☺️

I always find the scene with the Champagne and him not listening to Elena as him more celebrating his victory over Damon at this point, and nothing to do with Elena.
