One of my favorite Episodes, shows how deep the Bond is between Jeremy and Damon, despite the talk that took place earlier in the episode and others. Damon resists Kols' compulsion by walking slowly, telling Jeremy to run, and eventually tell him to kill him. All the while, Jeremy also refuses to kill Damon when he has the chance. This really has nothing to do with Damon and Elena, but Damon's actual love for Jeremy.

Stefan the sore loser....Stefan broke up with Elena, as part of his "good guy" act. Stefan drove Elena away last season. Stefan always played at being able to respect her choices. Were is that respect now in her choice with this? He broke up with her this time. He has no right to mistreat Elena or Damon in any way regarding this. He ended the relationship, she has moved on, and he can't accept that, and respect that even. It was his own decision. He doesn't show an ounce of respect towards Damon or Elena and the choice that was made. Damon was ready to leave at the start of the Season. Did Damon lash out over being hurt by Elena's choice? Did he mistreat Elena? Did he mistreat Stefan? Hell, when Stefan told Damon about the break up, he actually wanted to do things to bond with his brother, since Stefan didn't tell him why they broke up in the first place. Why hasn't Stefan left as he said he would? Oh that's right, he wants to "fix" Elena because he can't love her or accept her as this person. He can only love her as a human, which is clearly put on display here as well, as was brought up by Katherine and Damon. Hence, he can't show her or Damon any respect in this matter, in her choice, and once again he broke up with her. Yet, now, that the choice has gone against him, the "good" guy act drops. The mask that he has been wearing for the first 3 seasons finally disappears. The show set up Stefan at the beginning as the hallmark to good to be true character e.g. the "perfect" guy, then slowly chipped away showing chinks in that armor through the first three seasons. This is the culmination of that finally, the facade has falling away. This though I understand is a personal growth moment for Stefan's character. The false reality and image that Stefan has set up for himself, in trying to act good and be good as a means to cover up his shame and guilt, as well as see his brother as the "bad" brother to feel better about himself as well. All part of the superiority complex he developed over the years. The false reality he created for himself has shattered right before his eyes. Damon: You know what I haven't gotten? Blame, guilt. I get it Stefan. I get that your pissed that Elena dumped you because she has feelings for me. Bet you blame the sire bond for that, too. Stefan: Yeah, you know what? I absolutely do. Damon: Why, because it's impossible to think she could have feelings for me? Stefan: No, because it's impossible for her to be so blind that she doesn't see how wrong you are for her.

Mate, it's really annoying how much you write about Damon being so good and about Stefan being so bad. We got it, you hate him but could you please stop it because then the person who reacts to it take into consideration everything that is wrote and you may influence her judgement.. You are free to think whatever you want and you can write a little if you want but entire books longer than the episode actually was just to describe how BAD one character is and how GOOD damon ALWAYS is is very annoying and I'm being very polite when I say that
